    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a dust remover by providing each branch pipe which directly communicates with the upstream side of a filter in each chamber of the dust removed, further providing an exhaust pipe for guiding an exhaust gas for regenerating the filter which is discharged from an exhaust gas source, through each branch pipe, and installing heating means on the exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: In addition to an exhaust pipe 103 through which an exhaust gas for removing dust is flowed, an exhaust pipe 104 for flowing an exhaust gas for regenerating a filter is provided. Further, branch pipes 104a-104e which communicate with the farthest downstream part of the exhaust pipe 104 are allowed to communicate respectively with chambers 3a-3e through valves 105a-105e on the upstream side of the filter 5. Besides, a fan 105 for compressing the exhaust gas in order to secure the flow rate of the exhaust gas during regeneration and a heating device 107 for heating the exhaust gas to secure the temperature of the exhaust gas during regeneration, are interposed halfway through the exhaust pipe 104. Thus, the dust remover 1 need not be equipped with a heating means, and as such, the configuration of the dust remover is simplified, so that the cost of the whole system can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extinguish a fire with a small quantity of water and perform a continuous discharge by simultaneously force-feeding a liquid and a gas to a two-fluid nozzle to atomize the liquid, and spraying the atomized liquid to extinguish the fire. SOLUTION: A compressor 1 compresses air and force-feeds it to a two-fluid nozzle 3 through a hose 4. A pump 2 sucks and pressurizes the water extinguishing water stored in a water storage tank 6 that is a liquid source, and force-feeds it to the two-fluid nozzle 3 through a hose 5. The two-fluid nozzle 3 mixes the simultaneously fed pressurized water and compressed air and blows out them at once. The water 7 blown out from the 2-fluid nozzle 3 is used for fire extinguishment, and sprayed to a flame 8 of fire source. Since the water is sprayed as atomized state, the water particle is made fine so as to facilitate the heat exchange with the flame 8. Accordingly, evaporation latent heat is effectively consumed for the fire extinguishment in addition to sensible heat of water, and the temperature of the flame 8 can be effectively reduced with a small quantity of water to extinguish it.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a water splay nozzle inside a tunnel with a small number of workers without interrupting traffic. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a container 15 for individually surrounding a water spray nozzle 2 inside a tunnel 1, a gas/liquid separating tank 16 communicating to the container 15, a drain pipe 18 communicating to the gal/liquid separating tank 16, and a flow meter 19 for measuring the flow rate of water passing through the drain pipe 18. By spraying water from the water spray nozzle 2 while individually surrounding the water spray nozzle 2 with the container 15, water is collected into the container 15 and send to the gas/liquid separating tank 16. Only the water flows through the drain pipe 18 and is drained, the flow rate of water passing through the drain pipe 18 is measured, the flow rate of water sprayed from the water spray nozzle 2 is detected without sprinkling water over the road, the mesh clogging of the water spray nozzle 2 or the like is detected, and the water spray nozzle 2 inside the tunnel 1 can be checked with a small number of workers without interrupting traffic.
