    • PURPOSE:To improve the wind-resisting strength in a windmill inexpensively in a short time at the time of storm arising by constituting a wind-resisting device from wire fittings being attracted to each tip of respective blades, plural pieces of binding wires coupling an interval between tips of adjacent blades, and wire clampers attached to each of these binding wires. CONSTITUTION:When a storm is predicted, a windmill is made into a feathering state, a binding wire 5 is attached to each tip of blades 2, 3, 4 in space between tips of adjacent blades via a wire fitting 7, operating each wire clampers 6, and thereby tension is given to each wire. Subsequently, one of the plural blades is set to horizontality and the windmill is stopped in advance. Thus installation of a wind-resisting device is over. This work can be done by an ordinary elevated service car 9, not a large-sized crane as in the past. Therefore even if a wind is blown from any direction at time of storm arising, these blades are reinforced with one another, and any possible deformation is checked, thus the wind-resisting strength is improved as a whole.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yaw control technique of a wind power generator which reduces wind direction variation while suppressing increase of the number of yaw rotation even in the case where wind direction gradually changes in a long period of time.
      SOLUTION: The wind power generator of this invention is provided with a nacelle 3 for loading a wind mill rotor 7, a nacelle rotation mechanism 4, a wind direction anemometer 10 and a control device 21 for controlling the nacelle rotating mechanism 4. The controlling device 21 calculates the wind direction variation from the wind direction measured by the wind direction anemometer 10 and a direction of the wind mill rotor 7, and yaw rotation of the nacelle 3 is conducted by the nacelle rotating mechanism 4 if either one of the following two conditions is satisfied; 1: the absolute value of the wind direction variation is kept to be equal to or larger than a first threshold value just for a predetermined first duration time, 2: the absolute value of the wind direction variation is kept to be equal to or larger than a second threshold value which is larger than the first threshold value for a predetermined second duration time which is shorter than the first duration time.

    • PURPOSE:To keep the strength of a blade foot portion at a sufficiently high level and avoid a FRP blade from being damaged due to over-tightening by tightening a blade mounting plate to the screw of an embedded metal embedded in the blade foot of the FRP blade with mounting bolts and mounting the FRP blade. Also, since the blade mounting plate 2 is tightened to the embedded metal 5 with the mounting bolts 3, damage of the FRP blade 1 due to over-tightening can be avoided. In addition, since the embedded metal 5 is not made in contact with fresh air, the corrosion of the metal can be prevented.
