摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an inclination sensor which can simultaneously detect angles of rotation in two directions with reference to the vertical axis of an underwater moving body by one inclination sensor, whose reliability is enhanced and which is small and low-cost. CONSTITUTION:A floater 12 is composed of a float and of a weight, and it is formed to be a spherical shape in which one specific point is always directed in the vertical direction and which has a surface in which the reflectivity of light is changed simply in the vertical direction from the upper part toward the lower part. The floater 12 is housed inside a spherical stator 11 in which a liquid is sealed, and it can be moved freely at the inside. A first light-emitting element 21 to a third light-emitting element 23 are mounted on, and attached to mutually orthogonal axes on the stator 11, and they project beams of light respectively toward the floater 12. The beams of light which are projected from the individual light-emitting elements 21 to 23 are reflected by the floater 12, and they are detected by a first photodetector 31 to a third photodetector 33. An attitude operation part 44 finds the attitude of an underward moving body, i.e., a pitch angle and a roll angle, on the basis of reflected-light-quantity signals detected by the photodetectors 31 to 33.

CONSTITUTION:A course planning device 210 generates a data base for course planning from an operation environment map wherein the positions of obstacles are previously discriminated. A loop detecting device 220 checks whether or not a next movement position is already passed by referring to the data base for course planning. When the position is already passed, the numbers of cells which are passed before and the number of a next cell to be passed are stored in the corresponding cell, so the position is already passed once and it is judged that the cable is looped. This loop detecting device 220 is provided to an arithmetic part 230 and the operation monitoring assistance device 510 can monitor the entanglement of the cable.

CONSTITUTION:On the bottom of a pit 1, target lines 2 are drawn, a mother ship 3 capable of cruising are floated and a cable 5 with floats 4 is connected to a control panel. An in-air camera 6 observing the mother ship 3 is arranged at the top of the pit 1 and an underwater camera 7a is placed at the bottom of the mother ship 3. Intermediate floats 9 are connected to the mother ship by way of the inwater cable 8a and a manipulator 10 is connected by way of the cable 8 and they are observed with an underwater camera 7b. To keep these devices in gravity free state in water, floats 11 is placed on the cable 8a and a ballast mechanism is placed on the float 9. The manipulator 10 self- runs on the floor. When it exceeds the movement region, the manipulator is pulled up from the floor with the ballast mechanism and the mother ship 3 is moved to a desired position.
