    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration device for low-temperature working denitration catalysts, capable of providing a means for recovering performance of the denitration catalysts when deteriorated due to generation of acid ammonium sulfate by means of a simple and low-cost device in a large diesel main engine for a vessel. SOLUTION: The low-temperature denitration device comprises denitration catalysts provided on an exhaust gas passage of the diesel main engine in parallel to be respectively opened/closed by a plurality of opening/closing valves, and a regeneration mechanism for the denitration catalysts composed to operate when exhaust gas temperature is a specified value or less. For regeneration of the denitration catalysts, exhaust gas from a diesel engine for power generation, provided separately from the diesel main engine, and of which exhaust gas temperature is higher than the specified value, is sent to the exhaust gas to the denitration catalyst to raise the temperature of the denitration catalyst by opening the opening/closing valve, and thereby the denitration catalyst is regenerated.     • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of space or erosion due to a cavitation inside a high pressure pipe as a sudden outflow of fuel is slowed down, by installing one step of a minute opening part of a fine groove at the end of plunger's ramming motion. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 1 to be connected to a reciprocating roller guide 3 performs an up-and-down motion, serving as a fuel-injection pump. Fuel flows in an oil feed chamber 2A by way of a main pipe 8 and then a branch pipe 7, and when the plunger goes down, the fuel enters inside a barrel from a hole (d) of a plunger barrel 2 and rammed by the plunger 1, coming into high pressure in consequence, then sprayed to the inside of a cylinder from a fuel valve 10 after passing through from a pump cover 6 to a high pressure pipe 9. When the plunger 1 moves upward, the hole (d) closes at an effective ramming part (a), thus fuel inside the barrel (e) becomes high pressure. Motion of the ramming part (a) is over, the hole (d) of the barrel opens a little by means of a minute open part (b) of a fine groove, then the barrel's hole (d) comes into a state of being fully opened by a full-open part (c). Therefore, a sudden outflow of fuel is eased to slow enough, thus the said phenomenon may in no case occur.

    • PURPOSE:To sharply reduce a rate of fuel consumption, by installing a fuel injection nozzle hole piercing a nozzle tip from a seat surface of a needle valve to the side of a combustion chamber, in case of a fuel injection valve for a Diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:A fuel groove 8b is installed in position ranging from an outlet of a fuel reve well 8 of a fuel injection valve body 15 to a nozzle tip 10 on the sidepiece of a needle valve 11. When fuel being filled up in the fuel groove 8b reaches its opening pressure, the needle valve 11 moves upward, spacing a seat surface 10a to some extent, whereby the fuel is spouted out of a fuel injection nozzle hole 9. The moment the needle valve 11 is closed, the fuel is not longer collected except a slight space inside the fuel injection nozzle hole 9 so that the ''after-dripping'' phenomenon is eliminated to nothing. With this constitution, a rate of fuel consumption in the engine is sharply reducible.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid generation of negative pressure in a fuel injection pipe line by providing a pressure accumulator mechanism having a subsidiary chamber communicated to a fuel reservoir and having a fixed capacity, a piston facing to the sub-camber and holding the subsidiary chamber at fixed pressure, and a spring. SOLUTION: Fuel is gradually pressurized from a fixed injection beginning crank angle, and reached to a fuel reservoir 2 through an injection pipe and a fuel passage 4. Pressure in the fuel reservoir 2 is applied to a needle valve 3, and when it exceeds the valve opening pressure, the needle valve 3 is opened and fuel in the fuel reservoir 2 is injected from a nozzle 5 into the combustion chamber of an engine. After injection, when the pressure in the fuel reservoir 2 is lowered under the valve opening pressure of the needle valve 3, the needle valve 3 is closed, and simultaneously pressure wave is generated between a fuel injection pump and the fuel reservoir 2 of a fuel injection valve. The pressure wave becomes large at the fuel reservor 2, reaches a subsidiary chamber 7 through a communicating hole 11, and when the pressure wave is lowered nearby negative pressure, a piston 8 provided in the subsidiary chamber 7 is pushed down by a spring 10, fuel in the subsidiary chamber 7 flows out into the fuel reservoir 2, and hence positive pressure is held.

    • PURPOSE:To improve sharp oiling for a piston rod, by installing a fitting hole, whose upper part is wide but narrow in the lower part, in the inside of an uphousing of a Diesel engine having a crosshead as well as installing packing in a lower part of the hole and also a spring on the top of the packing. CONSTITUTION:A fitting hole 24 having an incline, whose upper part is wide but narrow in the lower part, is installed in the inside of an uphousing 23 of a large marine crosshead type Diesel engine, while gland packing 1 composed of a carbon fiver material is inserted into a lower part of the hole 24, and a spring 22 is installed on top of the packing 21. Since the gland packing 21 consists of a carbon fiber material, it is excellent in sharp oiling and, what is more, as the packing 21 is held down under pressure, maintenance during engine dricing is no longer required whereby such the packing 21 as being excellent in the sharp oiling for a piston rod 1 is securable.
