    • PURPOSE:To provide a proper cut-off length and improve the accuracy of cut-off in a cut-off controller for a corrugated fiberboard cutting apparatus or the like by detecting a position of a cutter engaging a material with a cut completion detector. CONSTITUTION:A material 1 like corrugated fiberboard is cut off into a predetermined length by a rotating cylinder 2 with a shear edge 3. A material moving line is provided with a material position measuring wheel 4 to which is connected a pulse oscillator 5 so that pulses are generated to a material position counter 11 and a controller 8 detects the material position from this counter 11. The position of the shear edge 3 is determined by pulses generated from the pulse oscillator 5 connected to a motor 6 according to the rotational frequency of the cylinder 2 and counted by a shear edge position counter 12. The completion point of cut-off is detected by a cut-off completion detector 9 and then the material position counter 11 and shear edge position counter 12 are reset to zero by reset pulses generated from the cut-off completion detector 9.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of transmission, by discriminating a device for receiving unit from a parity pattern. CONSTITUTION:The transmission information is latched by a latching circuit 1, and a data of a prescribed bit is obtained. A parity generator 2 performs a parity calculation from the data of a prescribed bit and a parity pattern showing the receiving unit number in order to produce a hamming code of a prescribed bit. A parallel-serial converter 3 converts a parallel data into a serial data and transmits it. This serial data is received by a receiver 11 and then converted into a parallel data through a serial-parallel converter 12. Then a parity generator 13 produces a parity pattern from the hamming code of a prescribed bit. A parity pattern comparator 16 compares a parity pattern showing a device number with a parity pattern of reception data. It is known that the parity pattern is 001 if no error is detected. However, the pattern varies if an error arises.
