    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a metal component, enabling a reduction of a weld crack even when performing build-up welding repair of the vicinity of a cooling hole, and to provide a repaired metal component.SOLUTION: In a rotor blade 11 which is exposed to high temperature and has cooling holes 15 for cooling, a part of the cooling holes 15 is performed with beveling together with the crack having occurred near the cooling holes 15 from the front face side, the cooling holes 15 are each performed with hole plugging process by use of a wire 22 made of a similar-metal material after the beveling, a portion performed with the hole plugging process is smoothed, build-up welding is performed to the portion performed with the beveling and the smoothed portion to form a build-up part 25, and the initial cooling holes 15 are reworked to the wires 22 and the build-up part 25, so that the rotor blade 11 is repaired by the build-up welding.
