In this position, an upper jaw of a gripping vise 12 is closed to fix the press plate 9.

Corresponding to the direct adhesion of the ink, the quantity of the ink flowing to the first and second form rollers 15, 16 increases and the quantity of the ink adhered to a plate increases and, contrarily, the adhesion quantity of the ink by the third and fourth forme rollers 22, 21 is reduced. Therefore, excellent quality printed paper can be obtained.
