    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine which can perform precision printing by exactly deciding the phase of a roller to a master plate or a work plate.
      SOLUTION: A bearer roll 11 and a pinion 15 are mounted on the end part of a roller, and a bearer rail 12 with which the bearer roll 11 comes into contact and a rack 16 engaged with the pinion 15 are provided on the main body side. In addition, the bearer roll 11 and the bearer rail 12 come into contact with each other between the roller, the master plate and the work plate during transferring the ink. Further, the bearer roll 11 and the bearer rail 12 are separated from each other between the roller and the master plate or the work plate during not transferring the ink, and the pinion 15 and the rack 16 are separated from each other during transferring the ink, and are engaged with each other right before transferring the ink between the roller and the master plate or the rack plate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widely shorten a registering time and remarkably improve productivity by calculating a movement where a register mark coincides with a base plate register mark in response to an output of a CCD camera and providing a control means for sending it to an actuator type application tool means. SOLUTION: A base plate register mark 3 and a register mark 6 are formed into images by a CCD camera 7 and its signal is sent to a control device 30. At the control device 30, an offset quantity in three directions is computed at a computation section 31 from a relative offset quantity of the two marks based on optical information of input. A move signal based on the result of the computation is outputted to an actuator 13 on a printing surface plate from a control section 32. By receiving a control signal, a position is set corresponding to a transparent base plate 1 to be placed by the actuator 13. When a pusher 14 is operated so as to press it to the side face of the transparent base plate 1 by a patching tool 12, the base plate register mark 3 coincides with a surface plate register mark 4, so that registers come to match.

    • PURPOSE: To provide an ink roller by which the boundary of adjacent printing area parts or non-image area is distinctly made clear without generating an obstacle such as a one revolution mark (roller mark), a ghost and density unevennesses. CONSTITUTION: A belt 21 is circulated and moved between an ink roller 1 and a belt pulley 24. The outside surface of the outer layer (soft elastic body) 22 of the belt 21 is brought into contact with a reciprocating ink roller 9. Ink is transferred from the reciprocating ink roller 9 onto the outside surface of the outer layer 22 of the belt 21. Then, the outside surface of the outer layer 22 of the belt 21 is brought into contact with the form plate of a plate cylinder 10. Ink is transferred and supplied from the outside surface of the outer layer 22 of the belt 21 to the printing area part of the form plate. In this case, the outer layer 22 of the belt 21 is uniformly pushed against the form plate by the inner layer (rigid elastic body) 23 of the belt 21. Further, ink on the outside surface of the outer layer 22 of the belt 21 is uniformly transferred and supplied to the printing area part of the form plate by cushioning action of the rubber layer of the ink roller 1. The diameter of the ink roller 1 may be made small and ink is transferred in the edge of the printing area part in a good state. The boundary of adjacent patterns or non-image area is distinctly made clear.

Consequently, it is possible to cut off only a skin on the extreme top of the roll paper 12 by way of sticking the adhesive tape P all over the roll paper 12 in the shaft direction of the roll paper 12 and peeling off this adhesive tape P or sticking the adhesive tape P on a part of the roll paper 12 and peeling it off from this part, repeating these processes and sequentially repeating them over the shaft of the roll paper 12.

    • PURPOSE:To effect a peripheral and axial registration control between each of plate cylinders by a method wherein misregistration of primary color pictures obtained from the picture imaged by a camera which resolves the color printing pattern on a rotary press into the three primary colors in conjunction with a storoboscope is corrected on the display of a computer by simulation. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a computer-containing picture processing device 22 into which is sent a multicolor picture imaged by cameras 21a and 21b into three primary color pictures and which is operated by the command from a main controller 23 and a motor for effecting a peripheral and axial registration control of plate cylinders 2p, 3p, 4p and 5p. Since the multicolor picture blurs in color entirely when the primary color pictures sent into the picture processing device 22 are out of registration, the primary color picture are made to move on the display of the computer contained in the picture processing device 22 to make part of the picture out of registration small to correct the misregistration of the pictures and to eliminate the blur and the amount of each of the primary color pictures moved for this correcting is computed by the computer. According to the amount of the amount of the picture movement thus obtained the motor for effecting a peripheral and axial registration control of plate cylinders 2p-5p is actuated to effect an exact imposition of successive color patterns to be printed on a web.
