    • PURPOSE:To subject a bond part to the formation of the finer grains after recrystallization and to improve toughness by subjecting base metals to welding of the 2nd pass at a specific distance from the center line of the weld metal of the 1st pass and further to welding of the 3rd pass at a specific distance from the center line of the weld metal of the 1st pass. CONSTITUTION:The groove part of the base metals 1, 1 consisting of low alloy or resembling component steels is subjected to electron beam welding to form the weld metal 2A of the 1st pass. The position apart by 2H from the center line of the weld metal 2A is then subjected to the electron beam welding under the same conditions to form the weld metal 2B of the 2nd pass. The H which is the reference for the spacing between the welding pass positions is the distance between the region where the weld heat affected part is subjected to the formation of the finer grains after the recrystallization and the bond part. Further, the position apart by H in the same direction as the direction of the 2nd pass from the center line of the weld metal 2A of the 1st pass is subjected to the electron beam welding under the same conditions to form the weld metal 3C of the 3rd pass. The coarser grains are formed in the bond 3 part of the 1st pass and the 2nd pass and the finer grains are formed after the recrystallization by the heat cycle arising from the welding of the 3rd pass. The toughness is thereby improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mutual joint strength of dissimilar metal materials.SOLUTION: In a dissimilar material joint structure that joins together an anti-vibration member (first member) 14 and a joint member (second member) 15 which is formed of a dissimilar metal material to the anti-vibration member 14, the anti-vibration member 14 is sandwiched by a plurality of joint members 151 and 152, and these respective joint members 151 and 152 are joined together by welding. Due to contraction of a weld material 153 welding the joint members 151 and 152, the anti-vibration member 14 is sandwiched between the joint members 151 and 152, whereby the anti-vibration member 14 and the joint member 15 are joined. Consequently, a thermal treatment for welding the dissimilar metal materials becomes unnecessary, and the welding operation can be carried out easily. Moreover, since the anti-vibration member 14 is sandwiched between the joint member 151 and the joint member 152 by the contraction of the welding material 153, the mutual joint strength of the anti-vibration member 14 and the joint member 15 which are the dissimilar metal materials can be improved.
