    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the whole of a handling device, shorten the cycle time, lengthen the life of a sucking pad, and surely lift up the uppermost board with good efficiency. SOLUTION: First of all the uppermost board (a) of the stacked boards (a) is sucked and lifted up by all sacking pads 2 of a lifting device 12, a conveying device 8 is advanced just under the board, the suction of all sucking pads 2 is released to hand over the board (a) to the conveying device 8, and then the conveying device 8 is moved backward to hand over the board (a) to a conveyer 5. In the meantime, the lifting device 12 is operated to suck the next board (a) by all sucking pads 2 and lift up the same, and when the conveying device 8 completes conveyance and returns to its initial position, the board (a) is similarly received and conveyed to continue receiving and conveying boards (a). Further, at the time of lifting up the board (a), the end of the board (a) is first stripped by the sucking pad 2a having an end stripping function to separate one board, and then that one board is lifted up by all sucking pads 2.

    • PURPOSE:To make exchange of a stopper unnecessary and to enable handling of articles in respective dimensions in a stopper device of article conveyor for the articles in the shape of a cylinder and so on by providing a pair of guide plates having a window hole right above the conveyor with an interval and by providing a stopper member so that the tip end of the stopper member goes in and out of the window hole. CONSTITUTION:When a rod 13 for opening/closing stopper is moved up and down by a cylinder 4 for driving stopper, action of a cone shaped part at its tip end and a liner 14 of a stopper 3 makes the stopper 3 go forward and backward against a window hole 2a of a guide plate 2 and appear and disappear through the window hole 2a. The backward movement is made by a force of a spring 10. By this constitution, exchange of the stopper is mode unnecessary even when the size of an article is changed. Also, the size of the stopper can be reduced and handling can be facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To drastically reduce time required for size change and improve the production efficiency by a method wherein the speed of a carrier conveyor is set faster than the speed of a bucket conveyor, and opening/closing of a stopper for articles to be carried is synchronized with carrier lugs of the bucket conveyor, and article to be carried are divided into groups on the bucket conveyor. CONSTITUTION:At the downstream of a flat conveyor 31, a bucket conveyor 50 is arranged, and the carrier surface of the bucket conveyor 50 is made to be slightly lower than that of the flat conveyor 31, and carrier lugs 52, 53 are provided for the bucket conveyor 50. Since speed V2 of the bucket conveyor 50 is adjusted to be slightly slower than speed V1 of the carrier conveyor 5, an article to be carried which is transferred on the bucket conveyor 50 quickly catches up with the carrier lug 52 at the downstream side, and flows by the carrier speed V2 of the bucket conveyor 50 hereafter. Being blocked ahead, the article to be carried 1 on the flat conveyor 31 is also fed by the speed of V2. When the carrier lug 53 which is provided on the bucket conveyor 50 reaches the operation starting position, a stopper 60 operates, and the article to be carried 1 is stopped on the flat conveyor 31.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ratio of volume to boxing capacity, prevent the boxing from causing degradation in quality, and simplify the inverting control to enable preventing malfunctioning by juxtaposing inverted truncated conical containers and truncated conical containers in an alternated combination and piling them up with one upon another being in contact with diametrically larger parts and likewise diametrically smaller parts. SOLUTION: Containers 12 are separated into a row A and a row B of them, the row A being comprised of truncated conical containers 12 held with their diametrically smaller parts above and their diametrically larger parts under and the row B being comprised of inverted truncated conical containers 11 held with their diametrically smaller parts under and their diametrically larger parts above. After the separation, the plurality of truncated conical containers 12 of the row A are moved to a position for piling them up where there are arranged in the form of a letter V in plan. Similarly, the plurality of inverted truncated conical containers 11 of the row B are moved to the position for piling them where they are arranged in the form of an inverted letter of V in plan with each of them in a space between truncated conical containers 12. Subsequently, a plurality of conical trapezoidal containers 12 of another row A are laid on the inverted conical trapezoidal containers 11 and a plurality of inverted conical trapezoidal containers 11 of another row B are laid on the conical trapezoidal containers 12 all in a manner of piling them up in tiers.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the personnel expenses and improve the working efficiency by automating stacking work in which cup containers under a normally standing condition and upside-down condition are arranged to be adjacent for each row, each line and each stage. CONSTITUTION:Cup containers 1 which are carried by a carrying conveyor 2 one after another under a normally standing condition are guided to a dividing process A, and divided into a divided row number (n+1). Then, they are guided to a reversing process B, and cup containers on odd or even number divided rows among the cup containers for divided row number (n+1) are reversed and stood upside-down. Then, they are guided to an arranging process C, and the divided row number (n+1) is changed to (n), and at the same time, the cup containers are rearranged in such a manner that on each divided row, one cup container under a normally standing condition and one cup container under an upside-down condition are situated alternately, and also on the same line for each divided row, a cup container under a normally standing condition becomes adjacent to a cup container under an upside-down condition. Then, they are guided to a stacking process D and stacked in many stages.
