    • PURPOSE: To maintain the function of bearings serving as bearings effective for a contrapropeller device, by using roller bearings as the bearing for supporting the inner shaft of a contrapropeller and slide bearings as the bearings for supporting the outer shaft thereof.
      CONSTITUTION: An inner shaft is supported by roller bearings 6 secured on the inner peripheral surface of an outer shaft 2 which is supported to slide bearings 7 secured to a hull 3. The inner shaft 1 is rotated in the direction A while the outer shaft 2 is rotated in the direction B by means of a main unit, that is, they are rotated in opposite directions at an equal speed. Even if the outer shaft and the inner shaft are rotated in opposite directions at an equal speed, the load support function of bearings for supporting the inner shaft is surely maintained with no problem since the roller bearings are used for supporting the inner shaft.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent abrasion due to seizure by enabling a thick lubricating oil film to be formed between the bed slide of a crosshead and a slide guide plate through movement of the bed slide. CONSTITUTION:A part of the surface of the definite length of a bed slide 1 from the front and rear edges in its sliding direction, is formed with a slant plate 21. When the bed slide 1 makes a sliding motion in lubricating oil, hydrodynamic oil film pressure 23 is generated in lubricating oil flowing between the plane 21 and the fixed surface 22. The two surfaces 21, 22 are certainly separated from each other owing to the oil film pressure 23 and abrasion due to seizure can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To improve self-priming performance of an axial piston pump motor, by feeding high-pressure fluid in a cylinder of a cylinder case to the sliding surface between a port plate and the cylinder case, and thereby eliminating tilting moment of the cylinder case and uneven contact of the cylinder case to the port plate. CONSTITUTION:A connecting passage 14 is formed in a cylinder case 2 in the manner that it is extended from an inclined surface 15 on the side of a cylinder 4 formed owing to the pitch difference d1-d2 of a suction and a discharge ports 2a to the sliding surface of a thrust pad 13 formed at the end face of the cylinder case 2. Through the connecting passage 14, high-pressure fluid in the cylinder 4 is supplied to the sliding surface of a port plate and the cylinder case 2, so that no tilting moment is acted to the cylinder case. Since, by employing such an arrangement, inclination of the cylinder case 2 can be reduced almost to zero, it is enabled to prevent lowering of the efficiency due to seizure, leakage of high- pressure fluid or by other reasons and hence to improve the self-priming performance of the pump motor.
