摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filler for a high temperature, having a low gas permeability by mixing a large-sized zirconia powder, a medium-sized zirconia powder each having a specified particle size and a zircon powder composed of fine particles having a specified particle diameter. SOLUTION: This filling material for a high temperature is obtained by preparing a large-sized zirconia powder having 10-40 μm particle diameter and a medium-sized zirconia powder having 1-10 μm particle diameter by crushing and classifying a raw powder of 3 mol.% yttria-stabilized zirconia, etc., having 10-80 μm particle diameter, 50 μm mean particle diameter and 10.9×10 deg.C expansion coefficient, using fine particles of zircon having 0.1-1.0 μm particle diameter, 0.3 μm mean particle diameter, 10 m /g specific surface area and 7.9×10 deg.C expansion coefficient, forming a slurry of the fine particle zircon powder, a dispersing medium such as water and a dispersing agent such as a polycarboxylic acid ammonium, etc., by a dispersing treatment with a ball mill, etc., then adding the zirconia powder consisting of approximately 80 wt.% medium-sized particles and approximately 20 wt.% large-sized particles in a weight ratio of the zirconia powder/the zircon powder = (75/25)-(85/15) for dispersing.

摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing a sealant for high temp. with controllable thermal expansion and softening behavior by mixing a glass powder with a magnesia powder and further with an oxide ceramic powder in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION: A glass powder is mixed with a magnesia powder. The resulting mixture is further mixed with an oxide ceramic powder. The coefficient of thermal expansion and softening behavior of the resulting sealant is controlled by mixing glass, i.e., the base material, with magnesia particles, which has a high coefficient of thermal expansion, and oxide ceramic particles for controlling the coefficient of thermal expansion and softening behavior. Moreover, another powder having a different coefficient of thermal expansion may be mixed to compensate the difference in the coefficients of thermal expansion between the sealant and an adherend. Any powder which does not fuse with glass can be used. Bonding to a ceramic is enabled by changing the coefficient of thermal expansion. Bonding is carried out e.g. by heating a pasty composite powder or a sintered item.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-temperature sealing material having strong sticking force and high sealing performance by setting the powder sizes of zirconia powder and alumina powder to specific values, and specifying the mixing ratio of them. SOLUTION: Zirconia powder uses the coarse powder of 8-wt.% yttria stabilized zirconia, and its thermal expansion coefficient is 10.9×10 deg.C. The coarse powder is crushed to obtain large grains with the grain size of 10-40μm and medium grains with the grain size of 1-10μm. When alumina is added to zirconia, its thermal expansion coefficient is reduced. Fine alumina powder with the grain size of 0.1-1.0μm is used, and it is mixed with large-grain and medium- grain yttria stabilized zirconia. The mixing ratio is set to zirconia powder : alumina powder = 90/10 to 70/30, and a seal material having the densest filling of powder is obtained at this mixing ratio.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the performance while preventing coagulation, by mixing with each other in the state of a salt solution the electrode constituent elements such as, for example, nickel, zirconium, and the like and thermally decomposing the resulting solution. CONSTITUTION:Nickel, zirconium, ittrium, and the like which are constituent elements of an electrode are mixed together on an atomic basis in a salt solution, i.e., in a state where each element is in a condition of solution and exists in the form of ion. By thermally decomposing the resulting mixture so that the mixed elements do not separate from each other, a powdery body of an oxide in which each element is uniformly mixed on an atomic basis is obtained. In this case, a granular material having a granule size of 5mum or more is sintered in which nickel, zirconium, and ittrium obtained by thermally decomposing the mixed solution are mixed together on an atomic basis. As a result, since the respective elements are dispersed on an atomic basis, nickel is difficulty coagulated during the operation whereby it is possible to prevent the degradation of the performance and also to enhance the performance of the electrode owing to resultant increase in the three-phase interface of nickel, solid electrolyte, and gas phase.
