External and internal steel shells 8 are hoisted up by the frame 3 and are stacked up in tiers step by step and welded together, and a cylindrical double shell is constructed with concrete 9 cast to its inside. By repeating the above-mentioned processes, a hybrid steel/concrete side wall 7 is constructed while a cold-insulating material 12 and a membrane 13 are installed to the inner peripheral surface of the tank side wall, employing a circulating scaffold 11 installed to the frame 3.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficient quality of the side wall of an inner tank and to shorten the time necessary for completion by three processes wherein a roof for an outer tank and a roof for the inner tank are assembled and the side wall for the outer tank and the side wall for the inner tank are formed and they are installed on the top part of the side wall of the inner tank. SOLUTION: In the first process, a knuckle plate 4 for an inner tank is assembled and welded on an assembling trestle 51 for the knuckle plate 4. The top part 7A of the roof of the inner tank and the main body 6B of the roof of an outer tank being integrally formed through the ridge ring 5 for the inner and the outer tanks are arranged on the central trestle 52. A roof block 8 for the inner and the outer tanks which is made by integrally connecting the main body 6B of the roof of the outer tank and the main body 7A of the roof of the inner tank is used. In the second process, the side plate of the outer tank and the side plate of the inner tank are carried in and temporarily fixed and positioning before welding, welding, grinding finishing and non-destructive inspection are performed. Thereafter, the side plate of the outer tank and the side plate of the inner tank are installed on the side wall 13 for the outer tank and the side wall 14 for the inner tank. In the third process, the roof 7 for the inner tank is elevated by means of an air raise and the roof 7 for the inner tank is fixed on the top part of the side wall 14 for the inner tank by welding.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure the sealing capacity of a sealing member at the time of roof falling of a tank by a method wherein on the outer side peripheral surface of a tank roof, a heavy weight object with load which is equivalent to gas pressure in the tank is placed by a cuttable suspension tool so that it may freely drop. CONSTITUTION:At the inner side peripheral surface of a tank roof, a sealing member 5 which consists of a wire mesh 3, which extends downward along the inner peripheral surface of a tank side panel 1 and is a shape retaining member, and an asbestos sheet with aluminum foil 4, which is a sealing material, are attached by an adhesive tape 6. On the outer side peripheral surface of the tank roof 2, a heavy weight object 7 with load which is equivalent to gas pressure in the tank is fallably placed by a cuttable suspension tool 8. The suspension tool 8 is formed, e.g. nichrome wire, etc., which is easily molten by connection of electricity, and made to be cuttable by connection of electricity. When roof falling is determined, the suspension tool 8 is cut by connecting electricity, and by this motion, the heavy weight object 7 falls and is located above a gap between the tank side panel 1 and the peripheral part of the tank roof 2, and thus, the sealing member 5 is prevented from protruding.
