    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the ventilation volume after eliminating the generation of noises indoors. SOLUTION: For this ventilator for an air conditioner, on a building wall 1, a piping hole 6 having a space through which a piping 2 between an indoor unit 14 and an outdoor unit of the air conditioner passes and a ventilation passage 7, is formed, and a ventilation fan 4 and a fan motor 3 to drive the ventilation fan 4 are provided outdoors 13 and in the vicinity of an outlet. Therefore, the inlet of the ventilation passage 7 can be provided in the piping hole 6 regardless of the attaching location of the indoor unit 14. Also, a ventilation duct which is conventionally provided indoors can be eliminated, and at the same time, a channel resistance reduces. Also, since the ventilation fan 4 and its fan motor 3 are provided outdoors 13, noises by the fan indoors 12 can be eliminated. In addition, the dimensional restriction of the ventilation fan 4 is loosened, and one with a proper standard can be selected in order to ensure a required ventilation volume.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flow out more homogenized and more straightened refrigerant to an air conditioner coupled to an outlet tube by installing a straightening plate made of a porous material at a wake side from an upstream side space in a distributor for an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A refrigerant 29 flows from an inlet tube 2 into an upstream side space 6 of a body 1. The refrigerant 29 is straightened when the refrigerant 29 passes through a straightening plate 5 made of a sintered alloy as a straightening plate made of a porous material provided at an axial center of the body 1 so that the component of the refrigerant 29 becomes homogeneous, and flows through a downstream side space 7 provided at a downstream side of the plate 5. The refrigerant 29 flowing into the space 7 uniformly flows through output tubes 3, 4 having the same diameter. Thus, the refrigerant 9 uniformly flows to evaporators 27, 28 respectively connected to the tubes 3, 4. Even when the distributor 11 for an air conditioner is obliquely mounted or the like, the refrigerant 29 is straightened by the plate 5 to become a uniform flow, and distributed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the storage of liquid refrigerant in a condenser by providing a refrigerant liquid reservoir in a refrigerant tube of the upstream side from the installing position of a heater in an air conditioner in which refrigerant fed from a compressor to a capillary through the condenser is heated by the heater to vary a refrigerant flow rate. CONSTITUTION:At the time of operating an air conditioner, high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 is condensed to be liquefied by a condenser 2, and then adiabatically expanded by a capillary 4 to then cool the indoor air by the evaporation in an evaporator 3. In such an air conditioner, a refrigerant liquid reservoir 10 is provided in a refrigerant tube of the upstream side from the installed position of a heater 5. In the case where the load of the evaporator 3 is low, the refrigerant at the inlet of the capillary 4 is heated by the heater 5, when the dryness of the refrigerant at the inlet of the capillary 4 is increased and its density is decreased, the return of the liquid refrigerant to the compressor 1 due to the reduction in the refrigerant flow rate in the capillary 4 is prevented, and the excess refrigerant is stored in the reservoir 10.
