    • PURPOSE: To prevent brazing defect owing to difference in heat capacities or the like and obtain a pipe joint without using any flux by inserting a pipe into the no- flux joined object of a collar plate and a union, and placing fins in contact with the pipe, the subjecting these to furnace brazing.
      CONSTITUTION: First, a collar plate 2 and a union 3 are joined by no-flux joining such as friction joining or TIG joining. Thence, a pipe 1 is fitted into the hole of the plate 2 in the state of mechanical contact therewith, and fins 4 are placed in contact with the pipe 1. If the assembly in this state is subjected to furnace brazing, the brazing defect of the plate 2 and the union 3 having a large difference in heat capacities does not occur. The furnace brazing is carried out by using materials clad with brazing filler metal for the pipe 1, the plate 2, and the fins 2.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate brazing and prevent the lack of braze run by mounting a member which increases heat absorption to a member to a smaller surface area per unit weight out of brazing members in vacuum brazing of target articles of high metallic luster. CONSTITUTION:In the case of brazing a pipe 2 of a large surface area per unit weight and a connector 3 of a smaller surface area, the screw part 10 of a heat transfer piece 8 wound spirally with platelike heat absorbing fins 9 on the outer side is tightened and mounted to the screw part 4 of the connector 3. When these are charged into a vacuum of decompression brazing furnace and are subjected to vacuum or decompression brazing operation, the fins 9 absorb the radiation heat from the heater and further the heat is transmitted to the piece 8, so that the temp. of the connector 3 is elevated by way of the screw parts 10, 4. As a result, brazing filler metal infilters into the joining parts between the connector 3 and brazing seat 6 as well as the pipe 2, and the sufficient brazing is accomplished. Upon completion of the brazing, the piece 8 is removed from the connector 3.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate brazing and prevent lack of braze run by increasing the heat absorption of a member of a smaller surface area per unit weight out of brazing members in vacuum brazing for articles consisting of metals of high reflectivity on surfaces. CONSTITUTION:If there is a difference in surface area per unit weight between target parts in the case of performing vacuum brazing of articles consisting of metals of high reflectivity on surfaces such as aluminum and its alloy or stainless steel, blackening treatment which does not hamper vacuum brazing is applied on the surfaces of the parts of a smaller surface area per unit weight and vacuum brazing is accomplished. If the parts are of a stainless steel material, known means such as a chromic acid oxidation method, a sulfide staining method, and acidic blackening oxidation method are used and if the parts are of aluminum, arbitrary means such as an anodic oxidation method are used. Thereby, the uniform brazing temp. is attained in spite of existence of a difference in surface area per unit weight between the target articles.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible zigzag crooked bending by so providing upper bending dies and comb teeth as to be entered from diagonal above or retreat to diagonal above. CONSTITUTION:In the case of performing zigzag bending to form bent parts D-E, the straight pipe portion of D is gripped by upper and lower bending dies 8, 9 and a rotary pedestal 3 and support frame 4 are rotated 180 deg., by which the pressure bending of D-E is accomplished. This causes the finned pipe groups A, B, C having been previously bent to move together with D to the opposite side. By the operation of cylinders 5, 6 the pipe D is retreated toward right upper side to detaches from the finned pipes and, the upper bending die 8 and upper and lower comb teeth 10, 11 retreat and when they finish retreating, the rotary pedestal 3 and support frame 4 rotate 180 deg. in the opposite direction. After this, the straight pipe portion of the pipe E is advanced by the specified length along a mandrel 1 and the pipe E is rotated clockwise at the specified angle about the mandrel 1 and the pipe groups A, B, C, D are turned at the same angle. After this, the molding dies are again formed and the finned pipe E is gripped. The upper bending die 8 and upper comb teeth 10 enter from left diagonal above.
