CONSTITUTION:First data such as the characters and symbols of a dial face 3 loaded through a photography section 19, is stored in a digitized memory unit 21 as a temporary data storage through a serial/parallel conversion section 20. Next, this stored data writes data in buffer memory 26 or blank print memory 30 in accordance with given purposes, if the former receives a command from a display control section 25. In addition, data such as guide-lines which are required for printing plate setting but are not yet used for printing are loaded in an image memory unit 27 by the display control section 25 based on an instruction given by the data entered from an input section 23 into a control section 22. In this case, the content of the mentioned data is loaded in a minified image memory unit 101 upon an instruction given by the display control section 25 after the reduction of said content to half its original volume.

    • PURPOSE:To easily perform character picking up work for picking up even a character deformed artistically and easy to mistake reading with high probability by displaying the font pattern of the character stored in a font memory on a display device when the character on a character plate is monitored on the display device. CONSTITUTION:The position of the specified character on a character plate 3 is detected on the basis of the operation order from a control part 22 by an x-coordinates detector 41. The control part 22 sets the coordinates of the detected position of the character on the character plate 3 to an address code and reads the font pattern of the character kind corresponding to that of the character on the character plate 3 from a font memory 42 to send out the same to a refresh memory 28. The content of the refresh memory 28 is converted by a parallel/serial data converting part 31 to be displayed on a display device 32. The display of the character pattern on the character plate 3 taken in from an imaging pick-up part 19 and the display of the font pattern corresponding to the kind of the character on the character plate 3 read from the font memory 42 are changed over by an input part 23.

    • PURPOSE:To easily confirm the alternative addition and correction of a sentence or a graphic by providing a notice part which can be bidirectionally operated, mutually recognized and confirmed simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:In a notice part 10, data are transmitted in one side direction, for example, from an A side to a B side at first, namely in the route of an A-side transmission control part 3-a communication line 4-a B-side transmission control part 3-a B-side data buffer 11. At such a time, the same data to be transmitted to the B side are inputted to an A-side data bus buffer 11 as well and these contents are displayed on both an opponent display device 13. In the B side, when the correction or addition is executed to the display device 13 to display materials which are sent from the A side, a B-side detecting part 12 detects a part, where the correction or addition is executed, and only the part is transmitted through the communication line 4 to the A side. Then, the added and corrected part is immediately displayed to the A-side display device 13. At such a time, the same contents are displayed on the A-side and B-side display devices 13 and the data after addition and correction are inputted to the both A-side and B-side data buffers 11.

    • PURPOSE:To detect the defect (fault) of LED elements beforehand by providing a faulty element detecting circuit which compares a character pattern signal with an element current for every bit and detects the abnormality of the element of a printing head. CONSTITUTION:A character pattern signal of a LED head 6 is stored in a latch circuit 4. When the character pattern signal is inputted into the latch circuit 4, a driver element 5 generates a constant current required for driving LED elements 611-61n. The LED elements 611-61n emit light by the constant current which is supplied from the driver element 5. An element-current detecting circuit 7 detects the presence or absence of the current in every element of the LED elements 611-61n. When the current flows, an H signal is outputted to a defective element detecting circuit 8. When the current does not flow, an L signal is outputted into the circuit 8. In the circuit 8, the output of the element-current detecting circuit 7 is compared with the output of the latch circuit 4 for every bit. When the disagreed bit is present, an element-abnormality signal is outputted. Therefore, the defect (fault) of the LED element can be detected beforehand.
