    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a free amino acid increasing function capable of activating proteolytic enzyme included in food regardless of dry food or raw food without taking a long time, thus tasty components can be increased during storage.
      SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a light source 11 disposed inside of a refrigerator main body 1, and constituted by combining LEDs emitting ultraviolet ray of UV-A area of various peak wavelengths, and a reciprocating driving means 21 for changing a position of the light source 11, and the light source 11 is reciprocated and driven in at least one of the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. Further a temperature detecting means is mounted for detecting the inside temperature of the refrigerator main body 1, and a control means 16 is mounted for controlling the quantity of emitted ultraviolet ray of the light source 11 on the basis of the detected temperature.

The ventilation flue has elliptic or circular cross-sectional shape almost equal in the aspect ratio. The air intake port is composed of swirling flow suction ports 22a, 22b and swirling flow ventilation passages 23a, 23b provided communicating with the upper part side face of the ventilation flue so that air flows in from an inclined direction with respect to the normal of a ventilation passage side face.
