    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device and a conveying method capable of safely transporting an article such as a light sea bottom relay with a small space and less manpower and labor than the prior art.
      SOLUTION: The conveying device comprises a track vehicle 2 having a V-shaped article placing part 22 for placing a conveyed article such as the light sea bottom relay 6, a transporting vehicle 1 having a track part 13 for transporting the track vehicle 2 and allowing movement of the track vehicle 2, a movement preventing part 14 for temporarily preventing the movement of the track vehicle 2 on the track part 13, and a track connecting part 5 allowing the movement of the track vehicle 2 on the other track such as a track 42 in a tank disposed outside the transporting vehicle 1 from the track part 13. The track vehicle 2 is placed on the track part 13 and transported to a predetermined place by the transporting vehicle 1 while the light sea bottom relay 6 is placed, and is transported to the other track such as the track 42 in the tank as the destination via the track connecting part 5.
