    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth the push in of a linear body into a conduit line, by setting the length of a top guide rod with a specified outside diameter to be larger than the specified maximum length and smaller than the specified dimension, when it is made with the specified maximum length where a virtual column rigid body with a specified outside diameter can be inserted along the trough of a cable strand into the vacant space of a conduit line. SOLUTION: It is assumed that a triplex type of CV cable 6 comes to the opposite poles of the lowermost position and the uppermost position within a conduit line 7, at the first position a and the second position c at mutual interval of p/3, with the strand pitch of the triplex type of CVD cable 6 being p. Then, when it is defined that the maximum length where the virtual column rigid body 10 with a specified diameter d can be inserted along the trough 12 of the cable strand into the vacant space of the conduit line 7 is L0, the length L of the tip guide rod with a specified outside diameter d is set to be larger than the maximum length L0, and besides to be smaller than (L0+100 mm). As a result, a linear body can be pushed in smoothly and besides surely into an existing conduit line 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tip guide by which a linear body, such as a rod or the like can be smoothly and surely pushed into or pulled into an existing underground pipe after a cable has been pulled into by a method, wherein an outside roller group and an inside roller group which are composed respectively of a plurality of guide rollers are installed on a first carriage and a second carriage. SOLUTION: A first carriage 1 and a second carriage 2 are composed respectively of base parts 3, of intermediate parts 4 and of tip parts 5. Outside roller groups 7, composed of a plurality of guide rollers 6 capable of being turned along the long direction with respect to the inside of a conduit are installed at the base end parts 3, and inside roller groups 9 which are composed of a plurality of guide roller 8 capable of being turned along the long direction with respect to a cable of the conduit are installed at the intermediate parts 4 or the tip parts 5. As a result, a linear body such as a rod or the like can be smoothly and surely pushed into or pulled into an existing underground pipe (conduit) after the cable has been pulled into, so that the cable is not damaged externally.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the occurrence of a selection error to be prevented in a core leading work, and further enable an automatic selecting operation to be undertaken by controlling the release of a caterpillar on the basis of a speed difference between the drive motor of a caterpillar type delivery machine for the leading work, and the caterpillar. CONSTITUTION:A core 53 is supplied to the inside of a metal tube with a caterpillar type delivery machine 11 having caterpillars 12a and 12b. This metal tube externally coupled to the core 53 is corrugated with a corrugator and integrated with the core 53. In this manufacturing device for a cable having a corrugated metal tube, a one-way clutch 14 is provided between the drive motor 13 of the machine 11 and the gears 19a and 19b of the caterpillars 12a and 12b. In addition, speed detectors 15a and 15b are fitted respectively before and after the clutch 14. At the time of a work to lead the core 53, a speed difference between the detectors 15a and 15b is detected with a comparator 22. When the difference becomes equal to or larger than the predetermined value, a fluid cylinder 21 is actuated via the controller 23 of a control means 24. The arrival of the end of the core 53 at the corrugator is thus detected, thereby releasing the caterpillars 12a and 12b.
