    • PURPOSE:To obtain a two-component type diazo photosensitive material giving an azo dye image with superior fastness and fixablility even by semidry development by adding a photodegradable diazonium salt, a specified coupling component and an acid stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:A photodegradable diazonium salt (A) such as 4-diazo-2,5-dibutoxy-N,N-diethylaniline is mixed with a coupling component (B) represented by formula I (where R1 is lower alkylene; each of R2, R3 and R4 is lower alkyl; R3 and R4 may bond to each other to form a heterocyclic ring together with N; and X is an anion) and an acid stabilizer (C) such as maleic acid, and the mixture is applied to a substrate to obtain the desired two-component type diazo photosensitive material. The component B is easily prepd. by reacting amine represented by formula II with an alkylating agent such as alkyl iodide or alkyl ester of p-toluenesulfonic acid.
