    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to correspond to various operating states of a motor by installing a plurality of holders, in parallel and at predetermined intervals, being capable of holding brushes at predetermined positions relative to a commutator. CONSTITUTION:A pair of holders 3b holding one end of a terminal portion 2 are made of through holes of a similar figure slightly smaller than the outer shape of a cross section of the terminal portion 2; a plurality of the holders are arranged in parallel at a predetermined pitch over a tangential line of a virtual circle with the center located at the center shaft of the bearing supporting portion 3a, that is, the motor shaft, and each pair of the holders are arranged by point symmetry. This pitch is preset from the variable amount of contacting force between a brush portion 1 and commutator 7. When the terminal portion 2 is fixed to a holder 3b closer to the contact with the tangential line of the virtual circle, a larger contacting force between the brush portion 1 and the commutator 7 can be obtained, and the contacting force gets smaller as the holder located far from the contact. Therefore, a contacting force corresponding to the motor operation state can be obtained by adequately selecting the holder 3b to which the terminal portion 2 is fixed. By doing this, various use conditions of the motor can be accepted.
