    • PURPOSE:To obtain high terminal strength on a bent section and an outside terminal section by providing an overlap section overlapped on the outside terminal section, providing an extension section extended with one end of the overlap section on the angle section of a bent base section, and bending the extension section together with the outside terminal section. CONSTITUTION:A moving contact 7a' is provided on the base section 7a of a moving contact spring terminal 7, an intermediate portion fixed to a base 9 is bent, and an outside terminal section 7b protruded to the outside is provided on the other end. A fixed contact 8a' is fixed to the base section 8a of a fixed contact terminal 8, a bent section 8e is provided in the middle, and an outside terminal section 8b protruded to the outside is provided on the other end. An overlap section 8c end an extension section 8d are integrally provided on the terminal section 8b and the bent section 8e, and high terminal strength is obtained. An overlap section 7c and an extension section 7d are provided on the terminal section 7b and a bent section 7e for the contact spring 7. High terminal strength can be obtained on the bent sections 7e, 8e and the outside terminal sections 7b, 8b.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic relay composed of two kinds of contact types, a-contact type and b-contact type, capable of lessening investment in plant. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic relay composed of two kinds of contact types, so called, b-contact type and a-contact type, where respective contact portions 5 are brought into closed conditions when a coil 2 are set in both conditions, non-excited and excited, a contact portion 5 is formed so as to be in the closed condition when an armature 4 is attracted, and in an opened condition when the armature 4 is released, and is used together. In the b-contact type electromagnetic relay, a permanent magnet 31, magnetized in a magnetic circuit direction, is interposed in-between a yoke 3 among a core 1, the yoke 3, and the armature 4 so as to bring the armature 4 into an attracted condition when the coil 2 is in a non-excited condition. In the a-contact type electromagnetic relay, no permanent magnet 31 is interposed in any of the core 1, the yoke 3, and the armature 4 so as to bring the armature 4 into an attracted condition when the coil 2 is in an excited condition.

    • PURPOSE:To drive a driving member smoothly. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic relay is provided with a core 1, a coil 2 wound on the core 1, a yoke 3 fixed to the core 1, an armature 5 attracted to and released from the core 1, a contact portion 7 having a contact spring 7a, a driving member 6 provided respectively with a driving piece 6b driven to both sides of an insulating piece 6a by the armature 5, and pushing piece 6c pushing the contact spring 7a so as to close and open the contact portion 7, approximately flat plate like base 4 mounted with the respective members, and a cover 8 covering the base 4. Insulating walls 4b and 4a are provided on the base 4 and the cover 8 so as to guide respectively both upward side and downward side of the driving piece 6b and pushing piece 6c and to move the driving member 6 in a driving direction. Accordingly, even if the electromagnetic relay is used in such attitude as the base 4 is positioned upward or downward, the driving member 6 is smoothly driven without tilting.
