    • PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic relay composed of two kinds of contact types, a-contact type and b-contact type, capable of lessening investment in plant. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic relay composed of two kinds of contact types, so called, b-contact type and a-contact type, where respective contact portions 5 are brought into closed conditions when a coil 2 are set in both conditions, non-excited and excited, a contact portion 5 is formed so as to be in the closed condition when an armature 4 is attracted, and in an opened condition when the armature 4 is released, and is used together. In the b-contact type electromagnetic relay, a permanent magnet 31, magnetized in a magnetic circuit direction, is interposed in-between a yoke 3 among a core 1, the yoke 3, and the armature 4 so as to bring the armature 4 into an attracted condition when the coil 2 is in a non-excited condition. In the a-contact type electromagnetic relay, no permanent magnet 31 is interposed in any of the core 1, the yoke 3, and the armature 4 so as to bring the armature 4 into an attracted condition when the coil 2 is in an excited condition.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the attractive force acting on an armature by constituting the armature wherein a base end part is retained by a yoke fixed to a core, and an tip part is attracted and released by the core, in the manner in which a confronting part which approaches and confronts with the side surface of the end portion of a yoke when the tip part is attracted by the core is constituted between the base end portion and the tip part. CONSTITUTION:The base end portion 4a of an armature 4 is engaged with one end 3b of a yoke 3, and a tip part 4b is attracted and released by the head part 1b of a core 1. When the tip part 4b is attracted by the head part 1b of the core 1, a confronting part 4c which approaches the inner side surface of the one end portion 3b of the yoke 3 and confronts with the side surface is constituted between the base end portion 4a and the tip part 4b. Thereby the tip part 4b of the armature 4 is attracted by the head part 1b of the core 1 with an attractive force Fm, magnetic flux flows between the confronting part 4c and the one end portion 3b of the core 3, and an attractive force Fa is applied to the armature 4, so that the total attractive force is increased from the attractive force Fm by the amount of Fa and the operation of the armature is stabilized.

    • PURPOSE:To hardly change the operating characteristics of movable members by their mounting direction and moreover, to make it possible to move the movable members in parallel to a coil in the axial direction of the coil. CONSTITUTION:A polarized electromagnet is constituted of a core 1 which is formed of a central piece 1a and both opposed pieces 1b and 1c in a U-type, a coil 2 wound on the piece 1a of the core 1, a central magnetic pole piece 3 provided side by side to both opposed pieces 1b and 1c in almost the center between both opposed pieces 1b and 1c of the core 1, two pieces of permanent magnets 4 and 5 for magnetizing both opposed pieces 1b and 1c of the core 1 and the piece 3 into a pole different from each other and a U-shaped yoke piece 6 having both end parts 6a and 6b, which are respectively positioned in almost the centers between both voids between both opposed pieces 1b and 1c of the core 1 and the piece 3. Moreover, the electromagnet has two pieces of movable members 7 and 8, which are moved in parallel to the coil 2 in the same direction as the axial direction of the coil 2 by a structure wherein when the coil 2 is excited in a specified direction, both end parts 7a and 7b and both end parts 8a and 8b are respectively sucked by some of both opposed pieces 1b and 1c of the core 1, the piece 3 and both end parts 6a and 6b of the yoke piece 6 between both voids.

    • PURPOSE:To make the operating characteristic of an armature invariable substantially even when the direction of fitting is changed. CONSTITUTION:The title electromagnet is so constructed as to have a pair of yokes 1 and 2 having opposite-end magnetic pole parts 1a and 1b, and 2a and 2b, disposed in parallel so that they are opposed to each other, a permanent magnet 3 of which the direction of magnetization is held between the paired yokes 1 and 2, a coil 4 wound on the virtually central part of the paired yokes 1 and 2 with a coil frame 4a interposed, and an armature 6 of which the central part 6a is supported rotatably by the center 5d of a supporting groove 5c of a supporting frame 5 and rotates when the coil 4 is excited in a specified direction and of which the opposite-end parts 6b and 6c are attracted alternately by either the opposite-end magnetic pole parts 1a and 1b, or 2a and 2b, of the paired yokes 1 and 2 respectively. Accordingly, the permanent magnet 3 is not disposed on the armature 6 and the armature is a single body and light in weight. When the central part 6a is supported and rotates, the operating characteristic of the armature 6 is invariable substantially even when the direction of fitting thereof is changed.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a sealed type magnetic relay which can be easily assembled and is superior in its opening and closing performance. CONSTITUTION:A housing C for containing an electromagnet part A and a switch part B driven by the electromagnet part A, is constructed in such a way as a part of its outer wall, that is a part of a base 6 is formed of a filter part 8 made of a continuous porous material having both of water resisting property and air permeability, and thermally sealed by thermosetting adhesive 9. Accordingly, even if it is totally washed after being connected to a printed substrate, the clearing water does not enter inside as the filter part 8 has water resistance, and during the thermal sealing, no surplus work is required thereafter for sealing an air vent hole because, the expanded air is exhausted from the filter part 8 having air permeability. Moreover this magnetic relay is superior in its opening an closing performance, because even if it is opened and closed with a high load in the practical use, the generated heat is exhausted outside from the filter part 8 without being enclosed inside.
