    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless authentication system and a sensor therefor which can automatically complete a setting mode after slot setting when communicating with a wireless tag through time division multiple access while using a wireless communication band common between sensors in a wireless authentication system wherein a plurality of sensors are disposed along the moving space of a detection object, and movement is detected by performing communication between the wireless tag carried with the detection object and any sensor. SOLUTION: IDs are added to slot numbers (No.) to be used by the sensors in order from a high-order sensor S1 respectively and sequentially transmitted to a low-order side as used slot notifications. Thus, slot setting is automatically performed in such a manner that interference does not occur between adjacent sensors, the end of setting is determined when a terminal sensor S4 does not receive notifications from the others just for a period W3, and a slot setting end notification containing the ID is transmitted.
