A temperature detecting scan of the noncontact temperature detector 6 is intermittently performed, and an intermittent period is automatically changed according to a temperature rising speed of the food. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive dryness and uneven heating of foodstuffs by equipping a cooking container with a housing and a lid and having a percolable water-absorptive section at least in a part of the housing or the lid. SOLUTION: A cooking container is equipped with a housing 6 and a lid 7, and the entire of the housing 6 and lid 7 is structured from a porous water- absorptive material. After the housing 6 and the lid 7 are saturated with water, a foodstuff is housed in there. When a microwave oven is heated, electric waves passing the water containing cooking container become weakened by being absorbed by the water. Accordingly, the electric waves acting on the foodstuff within the container are weakened as a whole, the water contained in the container is warmed, the temperature of the entire container is risen and the absorbed water is discharged as vapor. Further, on the surface of the water- containing container reflective electric waves are generated and because of a mixed existence of a number of reflection-repeating electric waves whose phases are deviated, a uniform electric field can be obtained in which no resonant mode is difficult to be generated. As a result, a uniform heating can be performed with less heating irregularity.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize a quick drying by a method wherein blowing air is turned into a dry hot air by using an absorbent. CONSTITUTION:A heat source 3 and a fan 5 are arranged in a wind passage 1 and an absorbent 2 is also provided there. The fan 5 is controlled by a control circuit 8 to rotate reversibly so that a flowing direction of introduced air can be switched between directions indicated by arrows 9 and 10. In the case that drying operation is carried out, air indtroduced by the fan 5 through a first communication port 6 is deprived of moisture it contains by absorption while it is passing through the absorbent 2, so that the air can become a dry air. The dried air thus obtained is then heated by a heat source 3 and diffused through a second communication port 7 as a hot air. If substance to be dried is placed in front of the second communication port 7, by contact with the dry air diffused out of the second communiction port 7, the substance to be dried is deprived of moisture it contains and dried.
