    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that conventionally reproduction performance of signal is deteriorated, when signal processing is performed in the state where signals contain unnecessary pulses generated in reproduced signals by noises, distortions of input signals or the like. SOLUTION: The device has a signal interval detecting means for detecting an interval between pulses obtained by pulsing an inputted analog signal with a pulsing means 1 from pulses included in a pulsed output 101, and an extra pulse removing means 22 which removes a pulse in a location giving a pulse interval shorter than a specified time τ1 from that of the pulsed output 101 for a specific time by using an output 102 of a pulse interval comparison means 12 which gives the location of a pulse having τ1 or longer of the pulse interval of the pulsed output 101 for a specified time from two pulsed signals of a pulse- generating means, which generates a pulse having a width of a fixed interval with respect to the input of the pulse from the pulsed output 101. Signals, generated at timing of a fixed signal interval or shorter, are removed to correct errors.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jitter detector capable of extracting high precision jitter at high speed. SOLUTION: After performing waveform shaping of a reproduced RF signal 3 detected from an optical disk medium 1, it is converted into a digital RF signal 6 by a sampling clock 8 with a cycle which is twice that of a channel clock. After that, a portion of offset fluctuation of high frequency is compensated by an offset compensation circuit 9, data missed in the time direction is restored by a Nyquist interpolation filter 23. The high precision jitter is extracted by using a digital signal arithmetic circuit 29 after selecting a position for extracting the jitter according to reproduction speed of the optical disk medium 1 and an computing power of the digital signal arithmetic circuit 29 from its output signal by a jitter detection preprocessing circuit 28.
