    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high response hysteresis comparator.
      SOLUTION: A power supply becoming the reference of a load circuit is constituted of a first inverter 1 and a buffer 2 having short-circuited input and output, and a hysteresis control circuit 5 regulates the amount of shift of first and second load circuits 3 and 4 based on the output from a differential amplifier 6 thus constituting hysteresis. Since the center of output range of a comparator (input range of second and third inverters 7 and 8) becomes the threshold voltage of the inverter, delay time can be shortened by contracting the input range of both inverters 7 and 8 precisely resulting in high speed operation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a desired frequency characteristic by solving the problem that the desired characteristic cannot be obtained because a large design error is made in the ratio of capacitances between a gmC filters due to the parasitic capacity of a transistor in a filter circuit obtained by multistage cascade connection of the gmC filters.
      SOLUTION: The filter circuit consists of the gmC filters cascade-connected to have multistage of at least stages. The gmC filter at each stage has an input differential pair consisting of NPN bipolar transistors 104 and 105 having input signals to be added to each base, P channel MOS transistors 102 and 103 the drains of which are respectively connected to the connectors of the transistors 104 and 105, and a capacitor 107 connected to the collector of the transistor 104. Then, the each size ratio of the transistor 102 of the gmC filter at each stage is set to be nearly equal to each capacity ratio of the capacitor 107 of the gmC filter at each stage.

    • PURPOSE:To select one proper amplifier from between two amplifiers whose frequency characteristics are different from each other, and to always obtain a proper frequency characteristic by switching a switcher according to the reproducing state of a signal. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with two signal paths whose frequency characteristics are different from each other, the signal path is selected by comparing the signal level of the upper side band with the signal level of the lower side band of a side band appearing in a modulated signal, and the frequency characteristic is appropriately corrected according to the modulated signal. Thus, the device is equipped with two amplifiers 2 and 3 which amplify the modulated signal by the different frequency characteristic, a switcher 4 which selects and outputs one of the output signals of the amplifiers 2 and 3, and a side band detecting means I which individually detects the signal level of the upper side band and the signal level of the lower side band of the side band appearing in the modulated signal at the input side of the amplifiers 2 and 3 to compare them with each other, and controls the switching operation of the switcher according to the compared result.
