    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a board from increasing in temperature, even if Joule heating is generated in a resistor by a method, wherein the board is formed of composite material composed of resin-molding material and filler of metal compound powder mixed in a specific weight ratio. SOLUTION: A board 21 is equipped with a horseshoe resistor 22 of carbon or the like, provided with a hole 23 located nearly at its center, and integrally formed with a middle terminal 24 and an outer terminal 25 by insert molding. At this point, a base board, formed of polyphenylene sulfide which contains 10 to 90 wt.% of filler of metal compound and glass is used as the board 21. A protrudent part 27 is provided as protruding towards the hollow 23 of the board 21, a through-hole 28 is provided to the protrudent part 27 nearly at the center, a slider 29 which slides on the resistor 22 located on the upside of the board 21 is provided, and a metal driver plate provided with a cutout in parallel with the board 21 is provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a variable resistor by providing a substrate having a core material section and a film substrate and forming a horseshoe- shaped resistance layer and an external terminal which is electrically connected to the resistance layer and formed at least from the top face to the side face of the core material layer on the upper surface of the film substrate. SOLUTION: A variable resistor is provided with a substrate 32 having a hollow hole 32, a rectangular parallelepiped core material section 33, and a film substrate 34 which is formed in a U-shape from the top face to the bottom face through one side face of the section 33. On the upper surface of the film substrate 34, a horseshoe-like resistance layer 35 is provided above the core material section 33 and, at the same time, a metallic external terminal 36 which is electrically connected to the resistance layer 35 is provided. In addition, a metallic driver plate 37 has a through hole 38, a projecting section 39, a slider 40, and a notched section 41. A metallic internal terminal 42 has a cylindrical section 43 which is passed through the hollow holes 32 of the substrate 31 and the through hole 38 of the driver plate 37 and to which the driver plate 37 is attached pivotally.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to completely prevent solder melting resistance from deteriorating when circuit substrates, etc., are packaged in the flow method, by forming a variable resistor with the entire surface of the primary electrode exposed to the outside and the secondary electrode which is an Ni- plated layer partly covering the surface of a resistance element. CONSTITUTION:An edge surface primary electrode 4, a resistance surface primary electrode 3, back surface primary electrode 5 are, respectively, provided on one end part of an insulated substrate 1. Furthermore, a resistance element 2 is formed by printing, etc., overlapping part of the resistance surface primary electrodes 4 on one side of the insulated substrate 1. The entire surface of the primary electrodes 3, 4, and 5 and a part of a resistance element 2 are covered by an Ni electrode 6 prepared by plating, and, further, its outside surface is covered by a Sn/pb alloy layer 7. Because the entire surfaces of the primary electrodes which tend to undergo silver melting are covered by the Ni metal-plated layer, when packaging is made by the flow method, connecting reliability is improved. Although a rotating type variable resistor is explained, even in the case of a variable resistor of the linearly sliding type, there is no difference in the action and effects.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a number-of-revolution sensor in which a connecting layer is not disconnected even when the sensor is oscillated strong by folding the connecting layer to be electrically connected to a base terminal of a base in a direction opposite to a film of a magnetoresistive element and folding the film to trace the folding of the connecting layer. SOLUTION: After a face of a magnetoresistive element 21 at the opposite side to where an Si substrate 22 is provided is bonded to a connecting layer 24, the connecting layer 24 and a film 23 are folded along a fold hole 25 of the film 23. A magnet 27 is secured to a lower part of a base 28, and then the Si substrate 22 is bonded to a lower face of the magnet 27. The connecting layer 24 is registered to a position of a base terminal 29 of the base 28 and soldered. The connecting layer 24 is folded to be electrically connected to the base terminal 29 of the base 28 in a direction opposite to the film 23 of the resistive element 21, and moreover the film 23 is folded to follow the folding of the connecting layer 24. A strength insufficiency of the connecting layer 24 is accordingly reinforced by the film 23.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent moisture from being added to an element by a method wherein a case in which the connection part of revolutions sensor is installed is provided, a base body which is connected electrically to the processing circuit of the signal of the element which comprises an InSb magnetoresistance element as a magnet is provided and the element is covered with fluorine oil which cuts off moisture and which passes magnetism. SOLUTION: A pair of magnetoresistance elements 28 are vapor-deposited on the lower part of a base body. An epoxy resin 30 is formed on the rear surface of a tab film 29. Fluorine oil 31 which covers the elements 28, which cuts off moisture and which passes magnetism is formed. As a result, the temperature in the circumference of the revolutions sensor becomes low. Even when moisture is generated as dew formation due to a change in the temperature is added to a part near the elements 28, the fluorine oil 31 acts as a protective layer against the moisture. As a result, the moisture does not come into contact with the pair of magnetoresistance elements 28 composed of InSb, and the InSb in the magnetoresistance elements 28 is not eluted. Thereby it is possible to obtain the revolutions sensor whose output characteristic is not degraded.
