    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating system capable of easily switching between warm air heating and radiation heating, and at the same time preventing abnormal overheating, and maintaining safety with aging. SOLUTION: The heating system comprises a high-temperature gas generation means 21; a radiator 23 having a heat-sampling surface, a protection guard 27; a blowing means 31, a hot air supply opening 30; a high-temperature gas- switching means 33 for setting to a radiation heating operation when switching a high-temperature gas from the high-temperature gas generation means 21 for switching to the side of the radiator 23, and for setting to hot air heating operation when switching to the side of the hot air supply opening 30; and a control section 38 for controlling equipment according to a predetermined sequence based on operating conditions that are set by an operation section. The heating system also has a radiation temperature detection means 36 for detecting temperature in the radiator 23 or the protection guard 27, or the temperature near them. Also, the control section 38 switches to hot air heating operation when temperature detected by the radiation temperature detection means 36 exceeds a specific temperature in radiation heating operation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space heater which can realize a comfortable heating at a predetermined performance by surely closing one air-path when a heater operation is changed over to the other operation. SOLUTION: A switching means 34 is provided to a space heater in order to switch a high temperature gas generated in a combustion part 21 either to a radiant body 23 or to a warm-wind outlet 31. A mechanical shaft 34B is attached to a shaft 34A of the switching means 34. A motor lever 35 is attached to a power-generating driving part 35 driving the high temperature gas switching means. A connection board 39 is provided between the shaft 34B and the driving part 35. The shaft 34B and the board 39 are connected to each other by a link spring 34C, and the motor lever 35a and the connecting board 39 are connected to each other by a motor spring 35B, and they are mounting on a switching mechanism supporting board 38. A detector part 41 is placed at a position where the switching means 34 is switched to the side for a radiant heating operation and at the same time the tip end of the board 39 presses a switch.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a space heater in which switching between a warm wind heating and a radiant heating can be simply done and a circulating flow can be produced in the radiant heating operation to improve the amenity in which the air flow is made imperceptible to the user. SOLUTION: The space heater is provided with a high temperature gas producer 21, a radiator 23 having heat-collection faces 25 heated with high temperature gas, a blower 30 for supplying air-flow, a hot air outlet, 29 for letting out the air flow from a blower 30 after mixing the air flow with a high temperature gas, and a high-temperature gas-switching means 32A for switch a high- temperature gas from a high-temperature gas producer 21 either to the radiator 31 or to the outlet 29. In this space heater, there are further provided with a circulation blower 30 which sucks and lets out indoor air to produce an air flow, when the switching means 32A has switched the high temperature gas to the radiator 23, and an outlet 26A in the upper part of the heater to let out a part or the whole of the air flow sent from the blower 30 to the front upper part of the heater to produce a circulation flow in the room.
