    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device whose characteristics are improved by suppressing the rise of the internal temperature.
      SOLUTION: The plasma display device comprises a first metal panel 24 which is arranged on the rear face of a plasma panel 22 via an adhesive 23 and radiates the heat of the plasma panel 22; a second metal panel 25 arranged with a space 21 set in the first metal panel 24; and a circuit unit 26, formed by attaching a heat component unit 28 to a circuit substrate 30. The heat component unit 28 is constituted of a heat radiation plate 42 constituted of a metal plate 36 laminated with an insulator 38 on which a metal pattern 40 is laminated; and a heat generating component 44, brought into planar contact with the metal pattern 40. The metal plate 36 of the heat radiation plate 42 is brought into planar contact with the second metal panel 25.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a focusing device capable of accurately and easily focusing in a short time by detecting and correcting even focus deviation in an oblique direction due to deflection instrinsic to a CRT. CONSTITUTION:Horizontal and vertical waveforms for focus correction are generated from horizontal and vertical deflection pulses in a waveform generation circuit 11, superimposed on a high DC bias voltage generated in a flyback transformer 12 and added to the first focusing electrode 14 and second focusing electrode 15 of the CRT 13 and the spot diameter of an electronic beam is controlled. Since a light emitting material on the inner side of an applied member 16 emits light when the controlled electronic beam scans on the member 15 applied with the light emitting material, the light emitting time (t) of the light emitting material is detected in a light emission detection means 17, the voltage amplitude of the horizontal and vertical waveforms for the focus correction is controlled so as to minimize the light emitting time in a waveform control circuit 18 and the optimum focus is adjusted.

      SOLUTION: A circuit unit 26 having a heat component unit 28 mounted on a circuit board is mounted on a metal panel 24 arranged on the reverse surface of a plasma panel 22, and the heat component unit 28 has a heat radiation plate 42 formed by laminating an insulator 38 on a metal flat plate 36 opposed to the circuit board 30 and also laminating a metal pattern 40 on the insulator 38 and a heat generating component 44 which is brought into surface contact with the metal pattern 40; and a pressed-in component is pressed in the metal panel 24 and the circuit board 30 is fixed to the pressed-in component. Then while the metal flat plate 36 is brought into surface contact with the metal panel 24, the circuit unit 26 is mounted on the metal panel 24.

    • PURPOSE: To accurately correct the phase delay of parabolic signals for correction in horizontal and vertical directions in an image display device for which a deflection frequency is changed. CONSTITUTION: When a horizontal deflection pulse is supplied, a phase controller 21 changes the phase and outputs it to a horizontal correction waveform generation circuit 12. Horizontal parabolic signals generated in the horizontal correction waveform generation circuit 12 are voltage amplified in a horizontal amplification part 13 and a booster 14. Also, the vertical parabolic signals of a vertical correction waveform generation circuit 16 and the horizontal parabolic signals are superimposed on the secondary side of the booster 14 and outputted to a fly-back transformer. At the time, a high-pass filter 19 extracts the horizontal parabolic signals from output parabolic signals and supplies them to a comparison amplifier 20 and the comparison amplifier 20 detects the delay amount of the parabolic signals by the booster 14 or the like. The phase controller 21 controls the phase so as to make a phase difference with the horizontal deflection pulse small.
