    • PURPOSE:To reduce time required for judging failure part by simply judging at a low cost the content of protecting operation from a power device by means of one protecting operation signal and displaying the diagnosis of failure. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus comprises a compressor 1 and a control device 3 driving by means of a PWM signal a power device 2 having a group 4 of 6 semiconductor switching elements and a temperature/current protecting function. The power device 2 is provided with a temperature detecting means 5 for protecting the device, a current detecting means 6 and a timer (A) means 7 for turning a signal from the above two means 5, 6 into a period of time longer than a specified time. The output of the timer (A) means 7 is a protecting operation signal. Operation is performed by an the PWM signal from the control device 3 and the protecting operation signal AND circuit 18. The control device 3 comprises a timer (B) means 11 providing a period of time longer than the timer (A) means of the power device 2, a temperature/ current protection judging means 12 and a control device PWM signal output means 9. The protecting operation signal is inputted to the control device 3 and is compared with a time T2 of the timer of the control device 3. A judging means 12 judges the content of the protecting operation of the power device 2 on the basis of one protecting operation signal.

    • PURPOSE:To make easy installing work and to prevent the mistake thereof, by providing a plurality of damper-actuating means, each of which corresponds to each air-conditioning zone, and a room-setting means for actuating dampers whereby the correspondence between the air-conditioning zones is set, and a control means for confirming the position installed whereby in predetermined order, the damper-actuating means are actuated during a definite time when an input is performed to confirm the position installed. CONSTITUTION:Damper-actuating means 3a to 3c, an operation-selecting means 4 for each room, an operation-controlling means 5 and a room-setting means 6 for actuating dampers are the same as usual. A control means 7 for confirming the position installed is actuated by an input for confirming the position installed, i.e., a switch or initial closing of power supply. When a room A is set for a damper 3a, a room B, for a damper 3c, and a room C, for a damper 3b by the room-setting means 6, a fan is turned on by the input for confirming the position installed, and its air is respectively sent at regular intervals to the rooms A, C, B through the dampers 3a, 3b, 3c in that order, which respectively correspond to each of the dampers.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the highly precise detection of a remote controller position through a compact system with a few number of parts by providing a signal amplifying means which amplifies, tunes and detects a signal from a signal switching means, and a controlling means which outputs a switch signal to the signal switching means and inputs a level signal from the signal amplifying means, and judges remote controller position. CONSTITUTION:Light receiving elements 1a-1d receive a position detect signal (infrared ray signal) from a wireless remote controller. Selector switches 2a-2d are connected to the light receiving elements 1a-1d. The signal amplifying part 3 amplifies, tunes and detects the weak signals having passed through the selector switches 2a-2d. The level input terminal E of a microcomputer 4 is connected to the output terminal of the amplifying part 3. The output terminal F of the microcomputer 4 is connected to the CLK terminal of a switch control part 2e. Because the signals from plural light receiving elements 1a-1d are amplified, tuned and detected by one amplification circuit 3 according to the switch signal from the microcomputer 4 by using this constitution, and after definite time elapses, the level signal is inputted to the microcomputer 4, noise can be removed sufficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately obtain an output signal corresponding to the quantity of light by forming an amplifying circuit which uses a gain output circuit varying the amplification factor of a gain control part having gain attenuation characteristics corresponding to the output signal of a gain output part. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted by a light emission part 9 is received by a light reception part 1 and converted into an electric signal. This signal is inputted to an amplification part 2, amplified by a preamplification part 3, and inputted to the gain control part 4 having such a gain reduction characteristic that the amplification factor is varied according to the output of the gain output part 7. A signal after the frequency of a light signal used for a band-pass filter 5 is selected is inputted to a detection part 6 for converting the input into the output of the gain output part 7. The signal is inputted to a comparison part 8 through the gain output part 7 which feeds the signal back to the gain control part 4 as the output of the gain output part 7. The signal inputted to the comparison part 8 is A/D-converted to obtain the output signal corresponding to the quantity of light.
