    • PURPOSE:To make a high-band and high-function servo control even at the time of high-speed rotation of the optical disk by controlling the optical pickup by a 3rd control signal with the 1st and 2nd control signals added. CONSTITUTION:A focusing servo high frequency band compensating means 67 leads, the phase of an inputted focusing error signal 19 by 60 deg.. The means 67 shows the good phase characteristic without phase lag in the arithmetic delay time and control signal hold because of its analog circuit. In a normal servo state reading and writing the signal on an optical disk 1, when a vibration is applied from outside on a focusing servo means 100, an enough open loop gain causing no focus blurring is required. Thus, a focusing servo low-frequency band gain increasing means 78 can change the filter constant so as to increase the gain in the vibration frequency band 1-500Hz by few decibels. Further, a control signal addition means 69 adding the control signals outputted by the means 67 and 78 is provided to enable both the high servo band and the high function compensation.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a highly precise position control even when a low performance servo control system and an optical pickup are used by changing the relative loading position of an optical disk on a spindle motor. CONSTITUTION:A disk deviation detector 22 which detects the eccentricity and the wobbling surface of an optical disk 1 and outputs signals and a position change signal generator 23 are provided. The detector 22 detects a maximum amount of eccentricity of the disk 1 including the eccentricity of a spindle motor 2 from the size of tracking error signals while a tracking servo is turned on. One revolution of the disk 1 is equally divided by reference pulses, the position of the maximum eccentricity of the disk 1 is judged and the position at which the maximum amount of eccentricity is generated is outputted to the generator 23. The generator 23 outputs the signal which shows the position change to an automatic loading mechanism 3. The mechanism 3 unloads the disk 1 from the motor 2 after the motor 2 stops, rotates the motor 2 with prescribed number of reference pulses and again reloads the disk 1 onto the motor 2 so as to change the relative position.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the total thickness of a magneto-optical disk device by using in common a permanent magnet for focus/tracking control of an objective lens and magnet for generation of the data recording/erasing external bias magnetic filed for the magneto-optical disk in a paired form and furthermore fixing these magnets independently of a carriage. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 9 movable in the radius direction of a magneto- optical disk 10 is provided together with an objective lens holder 2 which contains an objective lens 1, focus coil 4, a tracking coil 3, etc., and the magnets 5 nd 6 which are fixed independently of the carriage 9 so that the same magnetic poles are set counter to each other on a carriage shift path. Then the magnetic fields close to the same magnetic poles are used for the focus and tracking control purposes among those magnetic fields generated by both magnets 5 and 6. Meanwhile the optical axis direction component of the magnetic filed is used as a bias magnetic filed which decides the magnetic filed direction when the data are recorded and erased to the disk 10 at a position near the recording area of the disk 10. As a result, a thin and light-weight magneto-optical disk device is obtained.
