    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the securelar change of a member after the lapse of time caused by a resisting force from cassette so as to improve the reliability of a device by rotating a swing shaft for swing-driving a cassette holding and moving driving part in a friction contacted condition by a bearing formed by a part of a substrate. SOLUTION: In a cassette loading part 1, by a bearing 25 U-shaped in section which is formed by cutting and raising a part of a substrate 4, a part of the swing shaft 7 of a holding driving part 9 for driving a cassette holding part 6 is received. The metallic swing shaft 7 for swinging the holding driving part 9 is received inside the metallic bearing 25 and rotated in a friction contact condition. Thus, a force acted on the swing shaft 7 connected to the holding and moving driving part 9 given by a resisting force from a cassette 5 is reduced and, even if the cassette 5 is frequently placed and held in a recording/ reproducing position for a long time, the change of a related member such as a side plate after the lapse of time is greatly reduced and the reliability of the cassette loading part, and thus the entire device, is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, to miniaturize the device and to reduce a cost by setting plural motor driving voltages for a cassette loading device and changing over these voltages according to the circumstance at the loading. CONSTITUTION:When the cassette is pushed in, a switch operates to rotate the driving motor 9. When the loading of cassette 12 is finished within a stipulated time, the motor 9 is stopped and the loading is completed. But, in the case the loading is not finished within the stipulated time by the increase of load due to the mass of cassette 12, dimentional tolerance, environmental condition, etc., the cassette is returned to the cassette loading/unloading position of the cassette holder 1 by the motor 9, then by increasing the motor driving voltage and the motor torque, the motor 9 is driven again for loading. When the loading is not finished within the stipulated time, the motor 9 is stopped for the protection of the motor.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the slacking of a tape unnecessarily when a tension controller is released and to smoothly change-over the tape to a reverse reproducing mode by providing separately a tension detecting means and a braking force variable means to make variable the pressuring force of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic recording and reproducing device is changed over to a recording reproducing mode, a tape 1 is driven in the A direction of an arrow, then, the tape tension occurring at the 1 is detected by a tension post 2, the pressuring force to the reel base braking part 4 of a braking belt 5 is made variable by the balance of the force turning a tension arm 10 in the clockwise direction and a tension spring 9. The tape tension is made constant. Next, when the device is changed over to a reverse reproducing mode and a tension arm 11 is forcibly released from the external part, the pressuring force to the reel base braking part 4 of the braking belt 5 is made variable, and a large driving source is not necessary to rotate a supplying reel base. In such a case, the tension post 2 is abutted to the tape 1 by a subtension spring 12.

CONSTITUTION:A raising/lowering member 33 which supports a pinch roller 15 in a state where the roller 15 can be rotated and moved in the vertical direction by means of an arm 17, is pivotably supported by a shaft 31 planted in a base plate 4 and the member 33 is supported by the cylindrical cam surface 32a of a driving member 32 pivotably supported by a shaft 30 in such a way that the end section of the member 33 is brought into contact with the cam surface 32a and the member 33 can be moved in the vertical direction. Even when the distance between the driving member shaft 30 and raising/lowering member shaft 31 varies and even when the contacted quantity between the cam surface 32a and end face of the member 33 varies, the thrusting back-lash of the member 33 can be suppressed below a fixed quantity. Therefore, the pressure-contacting height of the pinch roller 15 with the capstan shaft can be stabilized and, as a result, tape running can be stabilized.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a friction device of a magnetic recording and reproducing device which does not generate foreign sounds, by holding a spring bearing member with the elastic force of an enagaging part of a rotating body. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 5 of the friction device of the magnetic recording and reproducing device is rotated around a revolving shaft 2c of an arm 2 and uses the frictional force to a felt 4 to turn an arm 1 and the arm 2 around a fixed shaft 11. Since a rubber tire 5b is brought into contact with a load reel 22, the load reel 22 is rotated. However, if the load applied to the load reel 22 is increased, the rotating body 5 is not rotated while interlocking with the load reel 22 because the rotating body 5 slips on the felt 4. Since a projecting piece 7a of a spring bearing ring 7 is clipped by the deforming elastic force of a projecting piece part 5f with respect to engagement between the projecting piece 7a and a recessed part 5c of the rotating body, foreign sounds are not negerated though the rotating body 5 is rotated.
