    • PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption in a radiotelephone set and to automatically register the position of the telephone set, by controlling the ON and OFF of the power source of a reception circuit at a prescribed cycle by the radiotelephone set, and transmitting the identification number of a radio zone at a constant cycle not being related to the above cycle by a radio connection device. CONSTITUTION:The radiotelephone set (RTEL) 13 turns on and off the power source of the reception circuit at the prescribed cycle, and the radio connection device (CE) 12 transmits the identification number of the radio zone at the cycle not being related to the above ON/OFF cycle for a time larger than the ON/OFF cycle, and the cycle with the RTEL13 in the radio zone is taken, and the RTEL13 compares the identification number received at a time when the power source of the reception circuit is turned on with the identification number in a storage means, and sends the identification number of the RTEL and a received zone identification number to a radio line control unit (RCU) 11 as a position registration signal at a timing generated based on the identification number of the RTEL via the CE12 when no coincidence is obtained consecutively for a prescribed number of times.     • PURPOSE:To attain a wide area service with a simple constitution by using a radio line controller at a mobile destination to apply position registration according to the request from a radio telephone set newly when a radio telephone set moves between different talking connection areas. CONSTITUTION:When the radio telephone set 4 is moved between different talking connection areas, the radio controller 12 of the mobile destination applies a position registration to the request from the radio telephone set 4 newly. Then the radio telephone set 4 applies remote file access to the radio line controller 2 where the home memory 5 of the radio telephone set 4 exists through the use of the fixed telephone network 1 directly by using the dial key of the radio telephone set 4 to transfer information required for the induction of an incoming call to the mobile destination of the telephone number of the like. Thus, even in the calling connection area of the mobile destination, the calling connection the same as the calling connection area under the radio line controller 2 where the home memory 5 of the radio telephone set 4 exists is attained in the calling connection area of mobile destination.
