    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction motor having a function to prevent reverse rotation adapted to prevent reverse rotations of a synchronous rotor and an induction rotor during initial drive, and to simplify its construction and reduce its manufacturing cost.
      SOLUTION: An induction motor having a function to prevent reverse rotation comprises a stator 500 provided with a wire-wound coil 510 through which flux is generated by an electric current, an induction rotor 600 provided with a cage 610 with a rotating shaft coupled internally, rotatably inserted into the interior of the stator 500, and a permanent magnet 710 including a synchronous rotor 700 rotatably coupled between the stator 500 and the induction rotor 600, an induction force generating unit for generating a force to axially move the synchronous rotor 700, and a rotation preventing unit 800 for preventing reverse rotations by fixing the synchronous rotor 700 that is moved by the induction force generating unit at the time of the operation of the reverse rotation force to the synchronous rotor 700.
