摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable system and method for making a band selection in a wireless communications device. SOLUTION: The system and method for making a band selection in a wireless communications device is provided. Available bands include a first communication band, a second communication band, and an auxiliary band. A wideband diplexer 354 provides a wideband path which includes the first communication band and the auxiliary band, and also provides a second communication band path. A combination duplexer 361 couples to the wideband path, and has an auxiliary signal port 372, a first band receiving port 367, and a first band transmitting port 369. A standard duplexer 356 couples to the second communication path to provide a second band receiving port 363 and a second band transmitting port 365. In one embodiment, the first communication band is a PCS band, the second communication band is a cellular band, and the auxiliary signal is a GPS satellite signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
