      SOLUTION: The transmitter (1) comprises: a first signal-processing section (11) for acquiring an amplitude signal from a first input signal; a first amplifier (13) for generating a first amplification signal on the basis of the amplitude signal; a second amplifier (15) for generating a second amplification signal on the basis of the first input signal and the first amplification signal; a gain setting section (18) for generating a reference signal by giving a gain to the first input signal; comparators (19, 29) for generating a comparison signal by comparing the second amplification signal with the reference signal; and adders (24, 25) for generating the first input signal by adding a second input signal and the comparison signal. The amplifier has nonlinear amplification characteristics, and the second amplification signal includes a distortion amount from ideal linear characteristics of the amplifier, the gain follows the ideal linear characteristics of the amplifier, and the comparator generates the comparison signal including an estimated distortion amount of the distortion amount by the amplifier.
