    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scale removing method of a chromium-containing steel material for sufficiently removing, with a simple facility, scale of a bilayer structure having a lower layer containing high chromium oxide content formed on the surface of the chromium-containing steel material and an upper layer mainly made of iron oxide.SOLUTION: The scale removing method for a surface of the chromium-containing steel material, where the scale has the bilayer structure having the upper layer and lower layer and the chromium oxide content of the lower layer is higher than that of the upper layer, includes: a first step of removing the upper layer with acid; and a second step of applying oxidation treatment to the lower layer to solubilize the chromium oxide of the lower layer and then performing acid treatment. Preferably, the second step is repeated until the whole lower layer is removed. As the acid treatment, treatment by permanganate is suitable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticorrosion liquid for organic acid cleaning having anticorrosion and corrosion preventing effects during cleaning of a steel material, especially a chromium-containing steel material, and having these stable long-lasting effects during acid cleaning, and to provide a method of cleaning metals using the anticorrosion liquid for organic acid cleaning.SOLUTION: An anticorrosion liquid for organic acid cleaning is obtained by addition blending anticorrosion component to a cleaning liquid containing organic acid of 0 to 100 pts.wt., a chelator of 100 to 250 pts.wt. and a reductant of 50 to 150 pts.wt. and having pH of 6 to 8, and the anticorrosion component contains at least one kind of a pyridinium compound of 0.03 to 0.15 wt.%, an organic sulfur compound of 0.05 to 0.3 wt.%, and a soluble polymer having an ether group, a hydroxyl group, an ester group or a ketone group in a molecule of 0.03 to 0.2 wt.%.
