    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical cleaning method of a main steam pipe, an superheater and the like capable of inexpensively and efficiently cleaning a saturated steam pipe, the superheater and the main steam pipe without cutting.
      SOLUTION: A pipe 11 for cleaning is pulled in a steam drum 1 through a manhole 1a of a steam drum 1. A joint pipe 10 is mounted on a tip of the pipe 11, and the joint pipe 10 is inserted into the saturated steam pipe 3. Valves 16a, 24a are closed, a valve 26a is opened, further a valve 18a is opened, and a chemical feeding pipe 19 is operated. Whereby the water is circulated in a circulation pump 13, the pipes 12, 11, the saturated steam pipe 3, the superheater 4, the main steam pipe 5, the pipes 23, 25, 26, 16, a heater 15 and a pipe 14, and the cleaning chemicals are added to the water. By continuing the circulation, the scale attached to inner faces of the saturated steam pipe 3, the superheater 4 and the main steam pipe 5 are eliminated.
