    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide frame which enables shortening of a construction period and a reduction in construction cost and which enables uniformalization of prospecting accuracy and simplification of process management, and to provide a submarine prospecting method utilizing the guide frame.
      SOLUTION: The guide frame 1 or 12 is used when a monopile foundation is constructed in a coastal region. Characteristically, the guide frame 1 or 12 is constituted by joining steel earth-retaining materials 2 in a cubic shape so that a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped foundation pile driving space 3 can be formed at its center and so that rectangular parallelepiped-shaped guide pile driving spaces 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d can be formed at the four corners of the periphery of the foundation pile driving space 3, respectively. The submarine prospecting method for prospecting a sea bottom in the coastal region for constructing the monopile foundation is characterized in that the depth or inclined state of the sea bottom is prospected by an attitude of the guide frame 1 or 12 when the guide frame 1 or 12 is placed on the sea bottom in the coastal region while being lifted with a crane 5 or 8 installed on coastal land.

      SOLUTION: This method for constructing the monopile foundation includes: step of installing a guide frame 1 or 19, in which a foundation pile driving space 3 is formed, in a predetermined position in a coastal region by lifting it by means of a crane 5 or 8; a step of positioning and driving the foundation pile 16 in the foundation pile driving space 3 of the guide frame 1 or 19 by means of the crane 5 or 8; and a step of pulling out the guide frame 1 or 19 and guide piles 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d by means of the cranes 5 or 8. The method also includes a step of repeatedly excavating and agitating submarine ground within the driving range of the foundation pile 16 while horizontally moving excavation equipment 15, and of crushing an obstacle on the submarine ground, before driving the foundation pile 16.
