After an ink image is formed by printing on a printing blank plate (such as, an aluminum sheet) which has been provided with surface treatment, the toner is sprayed on it, the toner is removed from a nonimage area by blowing air on it (or by sucking air) using an air knife, etc. and the toner is allowed to adhere only to the ink image-area. And then, this is thermally fused and fixed on the image to provide the printing plate.
