    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a vehicle pillar exhibiting sufficient rigidity relative to any of collision load and slide door load without causing increase of cost and increase of weight.
      SOLUTION: In the reinforcement panel 1 of a center pillar 2 for dividing a slide door opening O1, a closed cross section structure extending in a vertical direction is formed by a pillar inner panel 22 and a pillar outer panel 21 positioned at the inner side and the outer side of the vehicle. The reinforcement panel 1 has a gradual displacement part 11 gradually displaced from a position along the pillar outer panel 21 at a pillar lower end to an approximately central part of a pillar space S toward the pillar inner panel 22, and is continued to a reinforcement panel 413 of a locker panel 41 extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction via the gradual displacement part 11. A reinforcement rib 14 projected to the outside of the vehicle and extending in a vertical direction is formed on a side edge near the slide door opening O1 of the gradual displacement part 11 on the reinforcement panel 1 of the center pillar 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spatter from being scattered to a screw hole of an anchor bracket when the anchor bracket is spot-welded to an anchor part of an automobile pillar.
      SOLUTION: In the anchor part structure of the automobile pillar, the anchor bracket 3 provided with a weld nut 4 forming the screw hole 40 concentric with a bolt through hole 10 is superposed on a back surface side around the bolt through hole 10 of an inner panel 1 of the pillar, both ends 31, 32 are spot-welded to the inner panel 1, and beads 33 of an approximately U shape cross section crossing the bracket 3 in a width direction are formed in an intermediate part of the spot-welded parts SP at both ends and the screw hole 40 on the bracket 3, respectively. Beads 11 of an approximately U shape in cross section superposed on the respective beads 33 of the bracket 3 are formed on the inner panel 1, and the spatter generated in welding is prevented from passing through a clearance between the inner panel 1 and the bracket 3 and scattering to the screw hole 40.

The inner panel 45 is formed in a frame shape so as to overlap a back side peripheral edge of the outer panel 43. A peripheral edge part of the inner panel 45 is held by a fold-back part 43e of the outer panel 43, and joined with the outer panel 43. The inner panel 45 of the roof panel part 40 is joined with a shelf-like part T of the roof side part 20, and right and left edges of the design surface in the roof panel part 40 cover the shelf-like part T of the roof side part 20.

      SOLUTION: In this pillar reinforcing structure, an anchor 4 provided with a shoulder anchor plate of a seatbelt constraining an occupant is installed to the compartment face 12 of an inner panel 1 formed into an approximate L-shaped cross section by a front face 11 facing the compartment front side of a pillar P2 of an automobile and a compartment face 12 facing a compartment central side in a vehicle width direction. A bulk head 5 dividing a portion along the inner panel 1 in the pillar into upper and lower parts is mounted so as to prevent the deformation of a bent angle between the front face 11 and the compartment face 12 of the inner panel 1 against the seatbelt load.
