That is to say, an outside ring 16 of a bearing 17 for supporting rotatably shafts 14a, 14b of the dies 10a, 10b is held by a pair of die receivers 20a, 20b. Also, two parallel guide holes 25 are pierced in the die receives 20a, 20b, respectively, and both ends of two guide bars 26X, 26Y passing through the hole 25 are fixed to a square-shaped block frame 19.     • PURPOSE:To improve remarkably drawability by forming a slit hoop steel to a hoop of a trapezoidal sectional shape having a uniform thickness within the specified tolerance and smooth sloped edges on both sides then supplying a flux to the inside surface side while forming the hoop to a tubular body. CONSTITUTION:A hoop steel 3 is passed through the 1st vertical rolling part 5 and is plastically worked to a hoop steel 3X, by which both end faces of the hoop 3 are formed to a smoothly curved shape. The hoop 3X is then passed through the 1st horizontal rolling part 6 to form a hoop 3Y, by which about 45 deg. tapered surface is formed in the upper part of both end faces. The hoop is thereafter passed through the 2nd vertical rolling part 7 to form a hoop 3Z, by which the uniform thickness within the specified tolerance is provided thereto, and about 25 deg. tapered surface is formed to both end faces. Such hoop 3Z is fed to a wire drawing stage II where the hoop is formed to a tubular body and a flux is supplied to the inside surface side so as to be enclosed and filled in the tubular body. The tubular body is then drawn to a prescribed size by a drawing machine.

CONSTITUTION:A fluctuation D with respect to a standard thickness D0 is measured by a contact type thickness gage, etc. at the point A for measuring the thickness of a hoop and is inputted to a mass calculating part after analog-to- digital conversion with a low pass filter and time adjustment. Speed data S determined at the point B for measuring speed and is multiplied by a correction factor. The result thereof is inputted to the mass calculating part, by which the hoop mass MH is obtd. The flux mass MF is calculated from the data MH and a prescribed flux rate F and is inputted to a flux change-over device which charges the flux at a charging point C. The flux is charged while the time when the hoop H travels from the point A up to C and the time until the command to a feeding out device is transmitted are adjusted and therefore the flux rate F is made exact and stabilized.

CONSTITUTION:The length, width and current length of a belt-like wire 2a are measured at all times with a mass detector 6 and are fed to a control device 7 which calculates the current value of the mass per prescribed length of the wire 2a from the same and the specific gravity of the wire 2a and calculates the theoretical value Mfk of the flux mass corresponding to said value as a max. target value. On the other hand, the feeding out rate of the flux (the current value of the mass) Mfa which is supplied currently onto the wire 2a from the feeding out part 8a of an electromagnetic feeder 8 is measured and is fed at all times to the device 7. The arithmetic processing of (Mfa-Mfk) is performed in the device 7 to determine a deviation value + or -DELTAMf, and the supply rate of the flux from the feeder 8 is so controlled as to maintain the value DELTAMf within the prescribed value.
