CONSTITUTION:A hoop material 12 is successively passed through a pre-washing part (first chamber 21), a rough washing part (second chamber 22), a medium washing part (third chamber 23), a finish washing part (fourth chamber 24) and a drying chamber (fifth, sixth and seventh chambers 24, 26, 27). The hoop material 12 is immersed in the hot water in the tank 21 of the pre-washing part and subjected to washing treatment by the hot water injected from spray nozzles 32, 33, 34 in the rough washing part 22, the medium washing part 23 and the finish washing part 24. Thereafter, air is injected to the hoop material 12 from air nozzles 38, 39, 40 in the drying chamber to dry the hoop material 12. Hot water successively overflows to washing soln. tanks 15, 16, 17 from a water supply tank 14 to wash the hoop material 12 in the finish washing part 24, the medium washing part 23 and the rough washing part 22 and gathered to the washing soln. tanks 15, 16, 17.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out uniform loop plating of a loop-shaped wire with high productivity by moving the wire with shifts of the loops in the forward direction, plating the loops during the movement, moving the plated loops in a direction perpendicular to the forward direction and further plating the loops. CONSTITUTION:A loop-shaped wire is moved in the first direction of an arrow 21 with a belt conveyor 6 with shifts of the lops 20 in the forward direction until the wire is put in a plating tank 1. In the tank 1, the loops 20 are moved with driving rolls 5 and electric current is supplied through electrifying rolls 8, 9 to plate the loops 20. The plated loops 20 are moved in the first direction 21 with a belt conveyor 7 and further moved in the second direction of an arrow 22 nearly perpendicular to the direction 21 with a belt conveyor 13 until the loops 20 are put in a plating tank 2. In the tank 2, the loops 20 are similarly plated. Since the overlapped edge parts of the loops 20 are shifted, the loops 20 are uniformly plated over the entire circumference. After loop plating is completed, the loops 20 are sent out with a belt conveyor 14.

    • PURPOSE:To cast a small diameter rod of a Co-base alloy of superior appearance stably for a long time by forming a feed nozzle of a joined object of a BN molding and oxide ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A cast rod is drawn out through a feed nozzle 2 and a mold 3 from a molten Co-base alloy holding furnace 1, whereby a small diameter rod is produced. Here, the nozzle 2 consists of tubular oxide caramics 2a communicating at one end with the side face of the furnace 1 and a tubular molding 2b of 40-85wt% BN of the same bore of which the end part is joined tightly in one body to the other end of said ceramics. The bore of the nozzle 2 is the same as that of a tubular mold 3 or slightly smaller than the same. Here, if the BN in the molding 2b is below the lower limit, there is virtually no lubricity, and above the upper limit, workability is extremely poor, resulting in degraded corrosion resistance and hardness. The molding 2b is extremely good in spalling resistance, but is eroded at its high temp. part and does not withstand long-term use; it is therefore combined with oxide ceramics 2a such as Al2O3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire contained in a pail vessel for welding capable of preventing jumping up and jumping out of the wire when the wire for welding is pulled out, preventing twisting of wires securely, and pulling out the wire straight and smoothly. SOLUTION: This wire contained in a pail vessel for welding is constituted in such a way that the wire for welding 2 is accumulated and stored like a coil in a pail vessel 1 and a pressing member 3 is put on a coillike wire accumulated body. The pressing member 3 has a longitudinal wall part 4 like a belt plate which is brought into contact with an inner wall of an outer cylinder of the pail vessel 1 in which the wire for welding 2 is stored and a plurality of elastic inward pieces 5 bent inward and extended at a predetermined interval from a lower end of the longitudinal wall part 4 and are tapered from a bottom part continuous with the lower end of the longitudinal wall part 4 toward a vertical angle part in a tip part. The elastic inward piece 5 is formed into a shape of substantially unequalsided triangle in which the vertical angle part is deviated in the direction of pulling out of the wire for welding 2 for a reference line 7 extending from a central point in the bottom part into a face of the inward piece 5 in the orthogonal direction. A wire pressing pressure is set to 5 gram or more and 100 gram or less.
