    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type power working unit which does not require frequent maintenance work of an air cleaner by remarkably reducing clogging of the air cleaner. SOLUTION: The portable type power working unit includes the air cleaner (30) which has a substrate case (32) having a clean air outlet (33) for guiding clean air to an intake port (25) of a vaporizer (14), a filter (35) mounted to seal an opening (32a) for mounting the filter of the substrate case (32), and a cleaner cover (37) mounted to coat the filter (35) to introduce outdoor air into the filter (35) by incorporating predetermined directivity. CONSTITUTION: In a process of engine starting operation, when a recoil relay 23 is rotated, plural pieces of engaging projections 23d of this recoil relay 23 come into contact with the rocking lower end of a rocker long rod 28a of a decompression lever 28 frequently, rocking this rocker long rod 28a. Since an engaging projection 28b at an upper end of the decompression lever 28 shifts in the rear with this rocking motion, a decompression rod 31 is rotated. With this rotation, an upper end 31c of the decompression rod 31 presses a pressing case 41, shifting a valve stem body 43 to some extent, and a conical valve body is separated from a valve seat, opening a pressure reducing valve 40. With this constitution, an air-fuel mixture of a combustion chamber 12a in a cylinder block 12 is exhausted to the outside via a through hole 42a and an exhaust hole 42e. With this emission, an inner part of the combustion chamber 12a is decompressed and thereby movements of a piston 13 are easily carried out, so engine starting becomes facilitated.
