    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that urges a user to acquire a key in a timing wherein a time margin sufficiently ensuring a pay program exists and a sufficient time can ensure a key acquisition job so as to provide an opportunity of determining purchase intention to the user thereby allowing the user to smoothly purchase the key and to view the pay program.
      SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver (200) is provided with: a broadcast reception means (210); a display means (260D); a storage means (M1) for storing a key to decode stream encrypted data; a program information storage means (M2) for storing program information; a control means (250) that displays video stream of a present program, information of a succeeding program in the program information stored in the program information storage means, key acquisition presence/absence information for decoding a stream of the succeeding program on a display means and controls display of a message of urging the acquisition of a key corresponding to the succeeding program on the display means when the acquisition presence/absence information indicates that no key is acquired; and a key acquisition means (270) for acquiring the key of the succeeding program whose key is displayed unacquired by means of the acquisition presence/absence information.
