    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple sealing structure preventing the leakage of gas whose pressure variation becomes large and high pressure.
      SOLUTION: A resin sub-seal member 11 having a recessed groove 16 is arranged on the high pressure side of a rubber main seal member 10, and when the pressure of high pressure side gas varies, this pressure variation is prevented from being transmitted to the main seal member 10. A variation relieving space 13 is also formed between the respective seal members 10 and 11, and even if a response delay of the sub-seal member 11 to the leakage of the gas and the pressure variation in the sub-seal member 11 is caused, the pressure variation can be relieved by the variation relieving space 13. Thus, a sudden change in the pressure of the gas around the main seal member 10 is prevented, and the occurrence of a blister phenomenon is prevented, and high sealability is attained. The respective seal members 10 and 11 and the variation relieving space 13 are only preferably arranged, and can be achieved in a simple constitution.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant which can maintain sealability without adhering near a lip for a solid body and a crystalline substance, the liquid is hard to stay in a recess groove of a seal main body, and washing is easy, when sealing the liquid containing an ingredient which is apt to solidify or crystallize.
      SOLUTION: The sealant consists of a resin-made seal main body 1 having the recess groove 3, which is U-shaped in a cross section, and opens in one direction of an axis line, and a rubber-made O-ring 2 fitted in the recess groove 3 of the seal main body 1, and is used for medical equipment or painting equipment. The seal main body 1 is provided with a tip end lip 4 inclined in one direction of the axis line and a main lip 5 in the middle of one direction of the axis line at a sliding surface 6 side. In the pressure receiving state in which the O-ring 2 is compressed by pressure action from one direction of the axis line, a dimension A in the axis line direction from a base end surface 7 in the other direction of the axis line of the seal main body 1 to a center point 8 in a cross section of the O-ring 2, and a dimension B in the axis line direction from the base end surface 7 to a tip end 9 of the main lip 5 are set approximately the same.

      SOLUTION: The U-shape seal is formed by providing an annular seal main body 11 having an inner diameter side lip part 12 and an outer diameter side lip part 13 with annular opening groove parts 14 opening in one axial direction at two positions on an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side through an intermediate wall 15, and a spring member 16 is provided in each of the opening groove parts 14. With this structure, thickness of the inner diameter side lip part 12 and the outer diameter side lip part 13 can be reduced, and restoring force of the spring member 16 can be sufficiently sealed as bearing pressure.
