    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined power generation plant which prevents rapid change of inlet stream temperature of a steam turbine and can continue an operation of a steam turbine type power-generating device, and its control method. SOLUTION: The combined power generation plant comprises a plurality of gas turbine type power-generating devices 300, a waste heat boiler 101, superheaters 104a and 104b disposed on the exhaust side of gas turbines 301a and 301b, respectively, a steam turbine type power-generating device 200, blocking means 106a and 106b for blocking steam flowing into the superheaters 104a and 104b, respectively, trip detecting means 113a and 113b for detecting the trip of each gas turbine type power-generating device 300, and a controller 400 for controlling the operation of the combined power generation plant. The controller 400 is constituted so that, when information related to the trip of each gas turbine type power-generating device 300 is acquired, the blocking means corresponding to the superheater on the gas turbine type power-generating device side having tripped is blocked based on the information.
