    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door sash that can be connected by electric resistance welding, and is high in productivity with light-weight, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A door sash of a vehicle is formed of a cross section by roll forming from one piece of plate. The cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the door sash includes an outer surface part positioned outside the vehicle, and double parts formed by folding back both sides into the reverse side from the outer surface part and overlaid thereon. The inside plate material among the double parts forms a run channel holding unit, and has a bag-shaped part formed by being folded in a bag-shape. The bag-shaped part has an inside surface folded from the run channel holding unit into the indoor side, an inner surface folded back from the tip of the inside surface to the substantially perpendicular direction, and an outside surface folded back from the tip of the inner surface to the outside of the vehicle. The outside plate among the double parts forms a weather-strip holding unit, and has a welded part which is welded and connected such that the tip side is partially overlapped on the inside of the closed part of the outside surface forming the bag-shaped part.

      SOLUTION: This vehicular door sash is composed of a roof-side sash member (horizontal sash member) 1 which is formed so as to meet a roof panel door opening surface and is provided so as to extend in the horizontal direction; and a longitudinal sash member 2 which is formed so as to meet a B pillar. The roof-side sash member 1 is formed out of a plastic material, using an extrusion molding method based on a die material 11 having a certain cross-section shape, and protrusion portions 12 and 13 are provided at both edges of such sash member 11. Then, the door sash for the vehicle is formed by engaging the protrusion portions 12 and 13 with engaging holes 21 and 31 which are provided on the longitudinal sash member 2 or the door panel 3.
