    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise absorbing structure and a noise absorbing/insulating structure capable of exerting a noise absorption property suitable for noise having a wide frequency range.
      SOLUTION: First to third noise absorbing portions 26a to 26c whose noise absorbing characteristics are different are provided in a noise absorbing/insulating box 12. Respective noise absorbing portions 26a to 26c are equipped with noise absorbing walls 21a to 21c which are arranged toward a noise source and a noise insulating wall 22 which is arranged by being opposed to the noise absorbing walls 21a to 21c. First noise absorbing holes 20a, second noise absorbing holes 20b and third noise absorbing holes 20c whose opening areas are equal are provided respectively in respective noise absorbing walls 21a to 21c by being penetrated. Moreover, the noise absorbing box 12 is formed so that internal volumes are different for every noise absorbing portions 26a to 26c.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incorporating structure for interior member for a vehicle which can effectively reduce noises from the driving system of the vehicle, and a sound absorbing utensil which is used for the incorporating structure for the interior member for the vehicle.
      SOLUTION: On the internal side of a console box 11, a plurality of ribs 16 and 17 are formed, and sound absorbing utensils 13A to 13C having a sound absorbing function are held by the ribs 16 and 17. On the side walls 14 of the sound absorbing utensils 13A to 13C, a plurality of through holes 15 are formed, and the through holes 15 point to the driving system of the vehicle. Noises from the driving system are guided into the sound absorbing utensils 13A to 13C from the through holes 15 and damped. Therefore, noises which leak to the cabin side are reduced. The rate of the total area of the through holes 15 to the area of the side wall 14 on which the through holes 15 are formed is approximate 1.5%, and noises emitted from the transmission can effectively be reduced.
